Yep, when Matt Wells got hired they brought the TE back to Texas Tech. Last year the two TE’s combined for 36 catches for 463 yards but no TD’s. Looks like Lloyd is a JUCO recruit, he’s got the size needed for TE!

Thanks for the input, good pickup for Tech. I knew they didn't use TE much in recent history but seems like that's changing!

Ledger Hatch committed to Harvard.

Five more guys to watch and support.

Will Johnson- Is an athlete for St. Mary’s Ryken High School in Maryland. He plays everywhere (WR, DB, LB, HB). It looks like he will be playing Safety at the next level. He is committed to Virginia Tech. https://www.hudl.com/profile/9414666/Will-Johnson

Matt Binkowski- Plays RB and LB for Battlefield High School in Virginia. A big kid with speed and quick feet. I’m sure he will be moved to the more caste appropriate LB at the next level. He currently has offers from Rutgers, Temple, Liberty, Army, Navy and a slew of FCS schools. https://www.hudl.com/profile/8647073/Matthew-Binkowski

Peter Costelli- Plays QB for Mission Viejo High School in California. A big time QB prospect out of a powerhouse program. This kid is a tremendous athlete evident by his 10.82 100M time as a 10th grader. He is committed to Utah. https://www.hudl.com/profile/9750055/Peter-Costelli

Matt Langlois- Plays WR and CB for Catholic of Point Coupee High School in Louisiana. Another speedster with a 10.97 100M. A great athlete on both sides of the ball. He currently has offers from Arizona, Virginia, Kansas State, Boson College, Wake Forest, Houston and a few more. https://www.hudl.com/profile/7643344/Matthew-Langlois

Kyle Arnholt- Plays WR and DB for Lord Botetourt High School in Virginia. They were State Runner-Ups. A very good athlete who is good basketball and baseball player as well with good size. He currently has offers from Air Force, UMASS, Navy, Army, Richmond, Yale, Penn and more FCS schools. https://www.hudl.com/profile/8060550/Kyle-Arnholt

I also forgot to mention with Peter Costelli, the recruiting services have him listed as a "pro-style" not "dual threat". The kid is probably the fastest QB prospect in the country with his 100M time. What a joke.

McCallister is a stud. Caleb Schmitz has a video on his twitter of someone timing him at 4.39 in the 40. He will definitely be one to follow. Five more guys to watch.

Hunter Love- Plays RB for Fort Payne High School in Alabama. A battering ram at 6’2” 240! He rushed for 1,700 yards and 24 TD’s. Not the fastest but I love watching big, physical white kids run the ball. He currently has no offers. https://www.hudl.com/profile/10345846/Hunter-Love

PJ Penders- Plays CB for Seton Hall Prep in New Jersey. Quick with good ball skills at a solid program in Jersey. He currently has offers from Sacred Heart and Valpo. https://www.hudl.com/profile/10390840/PJ-Penders

Cooper Christensen- Plays WR and DB for Royal High School in Washington. They were State Champs. He caught 55 balls for 1,357 yards and 22TD’s. Also added 8 INT’s. Says he can run 4.45. He currently has an offer from Air Force. https://www.hudl.com/profile/9517503/Cooper-Christensen

Brock Biestek- Is an athlete for Cardinal Gibbons High School in North Carolina. Plays RB and WR but at 6’2” 200 looks more like a WR. Over 1,000 all-purpose yards. He currently has offers from Old Dominion, Army, Richmond, Furman, and some IVY’s. https://www.hudl.com/profile/1858975/Brock-Biestek

Creek Robertson- Plays DB for Madison Central in Mississippi. A physical, athletic football player, who is all over the field. He currently has no football offers, but is committed to Southern Miss for baseball. https://www.hudl.com/profile/8469477/Creek-Robertson

He's mixed.
I suppose if we are going by the 1 drop rule. When I saw the name Jalen, I was envisioning a nappy-haired mulatto. His wife appears to be some sort of Hispanic but she is obviously mostly European herself. I know a lot of full blooded southern Italians who look similar.

Obviously I respect your opinion and everyone is free to support who they want, but I’ll root for Jalen Kitna.

Feel free to root for Kitna, but it's obvious his surname earned him a scholarship. Very underwhelming stats in HS despite prototypical size.

Badgers landed a TE in Jack Pugh. 6'5 235 TE from Ohio!

4Star LB Chaz Chambliss to Georgia!

BC with a pair of tackles in Otto Hess and Ilja Krankovic

Dual Threat QB Trey Feeney to North Dakota

NC State with a Center in Nate Thornton. 6'4 285 versatile player.

Cameron Breier 6'2 190 from Washington State to Air Force

LB from Cincinnati to Ball State in Joey Stemler, 6'2 225 could be an instant contributor!

6'5 TE from Minnesota to North Dakota State in Finn Diggins

6'4 225TE Ben Postma to GA Tech along with QB Chayden Peery

6'4 230TE from Illinois in Drayton Perrin to Ball State.

6'3 280 G Troy Everett to Appalachian State.

I'll end this by mentioning an absolute beast of an LB in Arkansas' Cole Joyce. 6 foot 225lbs with a 10.89 100 meter time. 4.51 40yd laser timed. He's got 12 offers on his list, should continue to add more big ones! At some point you'd think maybe in State Arkansas gives him a look. That'd make too much sense.

I normally don't post these kind of posts but I wanted the lurkers to see.

RB
Seven Mcgee-Rochester NY-Committed to Oregon- 4.68 40-5'8" 167lbs
Corey Kiner-Cincinnati OH-Committed to LSU-4.76 40
Jaylen Anderson-Perry OH-Committed to West Virginia-4.72 40
Jordan Jenkins-Lindale TX-Committed to Baylor-4.68 40
Jackson Acker-Verona WI-Committed to Wisconsin-4.63 40

WR
Jacorey Brooks-Miami FL-Committed to Alabama-4.83 40
Beaux Collins-Bellflower CA-Committed to Clemson-4.72 40
Bryson Green-Allen TX-Committed to Baylor-4.70 40
Daejon Reynols-Loganville GA-Committed to Florida-4.73 40
Jacolby George-Ft. Lauderdale FL-Deciding between Miami, Penn St, and GA Tech- 4.72 40

This was just a quick search going through these kids 247 profiles. They have these listed as verified results. Now they may go on to be fine players. But the reason most would give for white players not getting scholarships and being more prevalent at these positions is lack of speed. Here are some of the supposedly top kids in the country going to the most prestigious schools who aren't burners. There are other kids who have other combine results but no 40. This is probably because they didn't run well and they can tell the people to redact their time and not post it. The results speak for themselves.
