Although I'm glad he's getting a shot at a Power Five school, in typical Castean-fashion, it's initially as a PWO...although he's expected to get a scholarship in the Spring:

After speaking with Szott, he informed that he will be entering as a preferred walk-on, but a scholarship will be available for him in the spring, which gives Kevin Sumlin and his staff flexibility when it comes to the scholarship class distribution.
...
He is 6-foot-3, 185 pounds, explosive off the line of scrimmage, creates separation, uses his hands well and gets up for a jump ball. He has some really good film out of high school, and it makes you wonder how he went undiscovered.

Umm, no it doesn't.

There is also a video of some of his senior hilites. The kid is probably going to be a fulltime starter by his sophomore year and should play some this fall.

Scott Frost and Nebraska received a big time commitment last night as LB Nick Henrich committed to them. I believe he has first round pick potential.

https://247sports.com/Player/Nick-Henrich-46038867/
Great pickup. Former Nebraska Head Cuck, Mike Riley, didn't pursue him. Frost made him a top priority and pushed hard. He also had offers from Notre Dame, Florida, LSU and a few other SEC teams.

I’m really hoping TJ McDaniel sticks at RB.....
Cam’s brother has a lot of skills.....
Zach Line was a beast at SMU and TJ could be up there with Zach and Dickerson who
hold all rushing records.....Just a wish.....I wouldn’t put $100 on it.

Read that McDaniel did sign with SMU beacause they will let him run the football..
Other schools (some big programs) wanted him to pay safety........Go TJM!!

Excellent news! Looking forward to another McDaniel. Always thought his bro was a helluva ballplayer. Had a decent career at Notre Dame and solid pro day but all he ended up was with a cup of coffee in the pros!

In earlier posts Dolphin referenced both WR Jase Bowen and QB John Rhys Plumlee. Also mentioned above Bowen will attend Michigan State and Plumlee will attend Georgia.

What is striking about both athletes is they both excel at football and baseball. Bowen has made it clear he will pursue both sports at Michigan State ( he originally only committed to play baseball at ND). Plumlee has been less clear on the matter. Recruited as a top QB he has not stated if he will play baseball at Georgia as of yet but it looks like he too will play both sports.

Both Bowen and Plumlee recently attended the prestigious East Coast Showcase which features top baseball prospects across the country. This gives you an indication that both are going to give baseball a full look to go along with football.

Each recorded a 6.56 60 yard dash which were the 6th fastest recorded times. East Coast times are usually the most reliable using electronic timing. In other words you don't see inflated times like you do at college pro days for football. Translating that speed onto the football field it is suffice to say both run either a 4.4 or 4.3 40 yard dash. They are both very fast!!

Plumlee may not stay at QB at Georgia and could be moved to RB, WR or DB?

Tow special athletes at two big time programs. I have found that athletic baseball players make electric football players. Anyone remember AZ QB Keith Smith (1996-99) from way back? So two players to keep tabs on next season.

Watching a kid Tyler Moler from Parkersburg WV running well....Not yet halftime. The Morgantown RB is a white kid, also...He’s had a good half.....DirectTV channel 659 if anyone wants to keep an eye on some good talent at the running back position.......Did a little research on Moler. Looks like he had a good junior year, but no offers that I’ve seen...
He could rush for 2000 yards this year but get no offers.....Recruitors prove me wrong.....

Good to see HS Football back in action, ill keep an eye out for Moler. Completely right about whatever stats he puts up though, won't make a difference. Louisville has a hometown upsider RB committed that had 600yards as a JR...

Leave no stone unturned!

I first brought up MD speedster Joey Felton a little under a year ago. He is a slot receiver who ran a 4.36 this summer. He is already ripping it up this season in High School. He has committed to Yale!

He will join RB stud Zane Dudek and WR speedster JP Shofti who will both be juniors next year. Keep stockpiling them gentlemen. Athletic and smart.

If you can't join them create a new template that offers a different avenue into the NFL!

Go YALE!!!! Go Bulldogs--the real ones not the imitation ones down in the Peach State. Ha.

Caucasian rb and wide receivers need to consider fcs schools more often. Instead of sitting on the bench for most of their time at fbs schools, they could go to fcs schools and actually play. Like Cooper Kupp did at Eastern Washington or Dudek at Yale right now.

Don’t forget Cade Stover, he’s the highest ranked LB in 2019! He’s committed to Ohio State. Also Jack Campbell (Iowa commit), Northwestern also has Bryce Gallagher

Good news regarding Moler! Anyone know his height/size/40? Suppose it's hard to say, as LF mentioned no recruiting profile...

Shadowlight nice to see another White speedster in The Ivy League!

Also Wisconsin recently received a commitment from Kansas TE Clay Cundiff. 6'4 220 receiving threat. They flipped him from Kansas Jayhawks. Smart choice by Cundiff!

Not much to relay regarding White commits lately, outside of OL (mostly OG and C) at major colleges and non-OL positions at the lower level, but...

4-star TE just committed to Arkansas
