Just curious - How long have you been following the recruiting process? I have glanced over lists here and there every year since probably 2008 and to me the make up of the lists racially looks the same every year - QBs, OTs, OGs and TEs are the only positions they will rank a white fairly high. Sometimes there is an LB or DE outlier. What are your observations?
I've done it about the same length of time, ten years or so, and have observed the pretty much the same thing. Sometimes there's a Safety that's ranked high, like Harrison Smith, but it's becoming more rare. I do think in the past several years we've seen a slight uptick in higher-ranked WRs (i.e.) Trey Quinn and Trent Irwin), but they are trying to do everything in their power to eliminate that, obviously.

Man, last-minute signings and commits are almost entirely coal...dozens and dozens before you see a White signee, who's then usually an OL or P.
