Shane Fields, a 5'10" corner from Middletown Kentucky is apparently signing with Western Kentucky tomorrow. Rivals has him with 4.5 speed and many local Kentucky writers are calling him the best cb prospect in the state this year. And to think with all the Afro-letes in Louisville these days. One more corner to root for. We could get up to 20 corners this year if everything falls into place. Also look for Ross Drwal, Vic Wharton and Tyler Lindsay to be somewhere in the top 50 cbs for the class of 2014. Vic Wharton is an EXCEPTIONAL athlete. He will be a first round pick in the NFL some year as a corner.

Bad news on the corner front. Ryan Torsza has committed to Dartmouth and Lorenzo Fertitta who had an offer from UNLV has committed to Villanova. This is also why we have less white athletes playing D1. They actually care about their education as where 90 % of the afro-letes think they are all going to play in the NFL. Delusional to the core.

Some more stuff...

Local wr product Aron Taylor has signed on with UTSA.

Evan Osborne has commited to Southern Miss. I thought with his size and frame (6'3" 220 lbs), he would be recruited as a wide receiver, but apparently they like him as a safety. Anyway, good luck to Evan.

It looks as if Wyatt Shallman WILL be playing on offense for Michigan. Apparently they want him to play as a hybrid running back/slot receiver.

Thanks for the updates Kaiser. I finally got a chance to look at Shallman. I just figured at that size he would wind up on defense. I had no idea he was so quick for that size. He would make a great power back. He reminds me of Rob Konrad at Syracuse before the NFL ruined his career making him strictly a fullback.

Aron Taylor is a great find. He is really impressive on video. I don't know his 40 time but he is FAST and looks very polished for just a high school wr. He could dominate in 2 or 3 years at a smaller D 1 confrence.

2014 super athlete Vic Wharton has just gotten 2 offers from TENNESSEE and ALABAMA????????? To play corner. Cincinnati wants him as a slot receiver but apparently he wants to go to Notre Dame though they have not offered yet. He loves Notre Dame because he is going to the same high school that Harrison Smith played for. I wonder with the new offers how high Rivals and Scout will have him ranked? The last corner to be ranked in the top 10 was Anthony Gonzalez. Go figure.

New Jersey wr Charles Callinan will be joining Dan Monteroso to play ball at Boston College.
Also 3 star recruit Florida native Matt Milano has commited to Boston College. He is going as a safety but college recruiters at a recent Michigan State camp said his better fit is at corner where he apparently shut down every major college wr recruit in one on one drills. One to watch for.

I have mentioned Ben Deluzio before. He is a 6'2" corner with 4.5 speed out of Florida. He received a very early offer from SMU to play corner months ago and now has a new one from Connecticut. He is supposed to be a tremendous baseball prospect so he might wind up with a baseball scholarship and not commit to football. Connecticut offered corner Gavin McHenry last year but he wound up going to Air Force. Uconn seems to play and offer white corners and rbs more than most teams ove rthe last 8 years. Im hoping Max DeLorenzo can open some eyes this year but he looks like a back up rb at best. His highlight videos are not that impressive.

Athlete Chase Dutra has chosen Indiana to play football next year. If he learns to polish his routes he could be dangerous. They don't know yet if he will play safety or wr but wr looks to be his meal ticket. He looks much faster than his 4.51 speed and is VERY explosive in the open field. He could be a serious deep threat for 4 years.

I'm watching Nebraska commit Johnny Stanton's Santa Margarita team play on ESPN2 right now. They are the No. 2 rated HS team in the country. They are also looking to be all-white so far from what I can tell!!

Awesome. Thanks for letting us know, Jack. River Cracraft who caught the last TD pass is going to Wash St on a scholly.

EDIT: And Ryan Wolpin, who had that nice run just before the first half expired, is a very talented RB. If it weren't for his melanin deficiency, he'd be a 3 or 4 star recruit with dozens of offers.

Here he is at a recent Nike 7-on-7 Tournament:

No problem, Highlander. I noticed that the announcers mention Cracraft was going to play for Leach, in addition to Brophy Prep's QB, Tyler Bruggeman, who's also looked pretty good tonight. Brophy Prep is also mostly white, highlighted by speedster WR Devon Allen, who also wants to run track in college in addition to playing WR. This game is definitely refreshing to watch compared with the mostly black game ESPN had on earlier this morning.

I'm of course cheering for the #2 all-white Santa Margarita team to win. Their offensive line is absolutly huge, and on average, weighed almost as much as USC's line did last year.

Speedy wr, Matthew Vanderberg has verbally committed to Iowa. I do not know much about him but he is from South Dakota. Not usually on most D1 scouts list.

2 more wr commits are Andrew Daugherty of Bakersfield , California who is going to West Point and someone I hyped about 4 months ago , Austin Baird is unfortunately going with Portland State. I am no football- guru but Baird had D1 talent.

Tim McVey the rb/lb from Ohio who I think is going to be the next Adam Archuleta has committed to Buffalo. As much as I hate to admit it he looks better at safety as he is a tremendous hitter/ tackler who is going to be a very good defensive player at least at the next level. He is only 5'9" but is very strong and well built.

Unfortunately, Cornerback recruit to Wyoming , Tanner Gentry , is moving to wr. He still is explosive there and its been mentioned by quite a few people he may have the best hands seen in a high school wr since Notre Dame's Robby Toma.

Oh Dreams

All I can say is the day my favorite college team, "cough," "cough" the Crimson Tide has a white running back I'll lose my mind. It's really sad that some teams overlook good players. It's funny too that when a white running back gets a shot, he's quite good. Just look at fullback converted to Running back MArk Weisman. Iowa has quite a talent there. He may be a 4.6 forty guy though. But damn he can hit the hole and run over people.

Thanks for the info on running backs. I'm excited to check these guys out, as I was once a running back who played behind... But hey I started and kicked ass in Rugby while in college! hahaha

Connor Reed a 5'11" 185 lb. athlete from Gardendale, Alabama has committed to UAB apparently as a wr. The kid is slick, slick and I mean slick in the open field. He will most likely wind up in the slot.

2 updates: Some safeties and where they are going. Super athletic/hitter Sean Barton who will probably wind up at outside lb is going to Stanford as we know.

Matt Milano from Florida is going to Boston College with a chance at corner as well.

Connor O'brien out of California is going to be a classic strong safety at Washington.

Erik Huhn out of Texas who had an offer from Oklahoma ( and they rarely recruit any whites at any skill position ) will play at U. of Texas.

Dallin Leavitt of Utah will play for BYU.

Corey Quallen an underrated player will play for Ohio U.

Matt Hubley of Wisconsin is going to Wisconsin.

Alex Brignoni who has the measurables to play corner is going to Arkansas. He should at least be a 3 year starter.

Garrett England of Utah is going to BYU

Tim Mcvey of Ohio is going to Buffalo possibly as a rb but he is going to be a good safety if he grows a little.

Rangy Luke Davis is going to Ole Miss.

Tyler Henderson of Florida is going to Florida Atlantic

Big time hitting Tyler Morrison of Nevada is going to San Diego State

And Zach Guiser of Pennsylvania is going to Akron.

There are about 23-27 guys right now with D1 offers.

Its not official but super fast yet unpolished wr Devon Allen looks to be going to UCLA. As I said once before this kid has run 2 legit 10.5 100 meter races and is a 110 high hurdle champion. Look for him to be in Brazil as a Decathlete.

A few more signees: Jake Kite is going to Duke, Austin Newsander to Toledo, Billy Aaron to Pisttsburgh m Evan Osborne to SOuthern Miss. amd Nathan Gerry is going to Nebraska but I like him more at wr. Chase Dutra is going to Indiana as a wr, Scout lists him as a safety but they are mistaken as usual.
