Christian McCaffrey's 56 yard TD catch was electric! He would have been perfect for the Saints system; coach Payton raved about him & wanted to take him with the 11th pick; but the Panthers took him at #8. Can only imagine him with Drew Brees at QB. McCaffrey could be a Pro Bowler!

If he gets 200 carries he may end up with a thousand rushing yards or close to it, along with a huge number of receptions.

Ron Rivera envisions 200 carries for Christian McCaffrey

As a rookie last season, Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey had 117 carries for 435 yards and two touchdowns. This year the Panthers see McCaffrey getting a bigger workload.

Panthers coach Ron Rivera told ESPN.com he wouldn’t be surprised if McCaffrey reached 200 carries this season. That matches what Rivera said in June, when he said he’s looking forward to seeing McCaffrey run between the tackles more, as he did in college.

McCaffrey is looking bigger and stronger this offseason, which might help him carry a bigger load. Although C.J. Anderson has arrived and will take over some of the running workload, McCaffrey is likely to be the starting running back.

The 22-year-old McCaffrey also caught 80 passes and returned 22 punts and three kickoffs last season, so if he keeps up that production in the passing game and on special teams, he could be looking at a 300-touch season in 2018. That’s what the Panthers envisioned when they drafted McCaffrey, and that’s what they want to see this season.

What the hell is wrong with sports fans in this country? It’s as if they’re rooting against CM. Did anyone read the comments under that article just posted? They laugh at the thought of CM carrying 200 times, like he’s some frail man. Pathetic....

I agree with you 100 percent. Those posters in the comments section seem like brainwashed traitors. But if you look, every single negative comment was overwhelmingly down voted. That was pretty good to see. There must be some CFers in the wings we may get to know some day soon.

I read those the other day. It shows just how extremely effective the psy-ops are.

McCaffrey had 24.1 and 23 carries per game in his Sophomore and Junior seasons at Stanford, respectively, and was strong through the last carry. This doesn't count his receptions or punt/kickoff returns either, that he had per game.

He's almost identical in height and weight to Jamaal Charles and apparently even heavier now (putting on good weight) but these DWF/cucks would never say that about Jamaal. They are projecting their own insecurities onto Christian. Cowards and ignoramuses.

It's NBC (Nothing But Communists) Sports. Par for the course.

The lack for decades of a White feature back in the NFL has had a serious and highly negative impact on the way "mainstream" fans think about White players and their abilities. The brainwashing runs deep.

Dam 80 catches is a lot for a RB. What was the main reason his Yards per attempt went down to 3.7 though ? Was it situational i.e being given the tough carries in difficult situations ? He was well above 5 in college. If he can stay above 4 he could become the undisputed number 1. Also some reports suggesting Burkhead could be the number 1. in New England with his pass catching ability. So despite all the hate we could have 2 starters this season at the RB position

Very poor run blocking by the o-line. Secondarily a lack of imagination in how he was used in running plays.

I saw CM at a awards banquet in N.C. recently and he is very much thicker and muscular looking. I was not that close to him but once, but believe me he is bigger. I think 200 carries won't be a problem.

BOOM! Exactly!
Plenty of it comes from unathletic DWF dweebs who were picked on in HS PE. They see C Mc Caffrey in themselves & think surely he's nothing much just like they were; this is a coping mechanism to make them feel better about themselves.

Put McCaffrey in the Saints Offense w Drew Bees & Sean Payton and this is not even being discussed!

McCaffrey's TD catch vs. Saints in NFC Playoffs was explosive!

When CM was allowed to get double digit carries he averaged 4.4 yds./att. He only got double digit carries in three games! 176 yds./40 att. I believe he started in some games. When he was allowed to start, he was more effective. I remember when Stewart would come out and CM would come in, everyone in the stadium knew who was getting the ball or when he didn't, there were two sometimes three defensive players cheating toward him!
….as Don said, lack of imagination on how to best utilize him.
Hopefully, he is named the starter from day one and is allowed to do so the entire season!
200 hundred carries at 4.4 yds is 880 yards. To get 1,000, he'll need roughly 225 carries and around 14 carries per game. Which is very doable.

He can easily get 1000 yards on the season if he is used properly and enough. I have read on Weenieworld that Rivera plans to use him as a receiver a lot like last year. I have a feeling he will get 1000 yards receiving before he gets a 1000 rushing.

It would be amazing to see McCaffrey eclipse either 1,000 rushing yards or 1,000 receiving yards this season. I'd take either! With his newfound bulk and his only competition being the slow-footed CJ Anderson, he carries (and role in the offense in general) should surely increase substantially. His highlights from the first pre-season game...

I saw this video posted on the official Panthers twitter page and there were no less than a hundred comments related to race. Most were stereotypical filth such as “he’s pretty fly for a white guy,” “that white boy ran fly,” and “white guys CAN run fast after all!”

Anyway, McCaffrey was flying without wings in that 71-yard TD run and I’d absolutely love to see him achieve a 1,000-yard rushing and/or receiving this year. Best case scenario is that he remains injury-free and has a season similar to that of Le’Veon Bell in 2014 (1,300 rushing yards, 850 receiving yards). Most likely, however, is that he has around 800-1,000 rushing yards and 700-800 receiving yards.

McCaffrey’s 2018 campaign may be the most important to our cause since Caste Football was created. It should be very exciting!

The anti-whites have an established policy of never calling white men men. They always call them males, guys or boys, never men.

I haven't read these comments but I'll guess that this policy is reflected in the comments.

It's very possible that McCaffrey could be leading the NFL in rushing at the end of week three. When is the last time a white RB led the NFL in rushing yards?
Some one please put up a highlight of CM stiff arming the Bengal LB to the ground on one of his long runs?

I saw the play. It wasn’t at the end of a long run. It was between the tackles. About 5 yards into a ten yard gain.. His dad was a badass stiff arm son of a gun, also.

Very nice game for McCaffrey. I have been taking some flak for drafting him first in a fantasy football league that is non PPR. In that league you need your running backs to pick up yards. While he has been doing okay catching passes a nice 180 yd. game puts him in elite RB 1 territory.

I don't have any problem with the way Carolina has used him. The NFL is rough on running backs and having other guys carry part of the load or letting him be involved in the passing game is all good in my opinion. Anyway after a 180 yard game is there any question he's a great runner. Who's the last white running back to pick up that many yards in a game. I'm guessing Peyton Hillis?

Yep, pretty sure it was Peyton Hillis. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201011070cle.htm

He's still only 32. Declared a bust at around the age of 25 due to one bad season after having a monster season.
