I've also noticed it for a long time, and it's been written about on the board many times over the years. There are lots of corporate network cameramen at every NFL game, and many of them do nothing but isolate on a single player (some focus on the sidelines for various reaction shots), which are then used for various replays, as the producer in the truck decides which shot is shown to the TV audience. And the producers/directors are all very well-versed on what they're supposed to do, one of the staples being cut to Whitey on defense whenever possible after a big play by the opposing offense.

Each broadcast also has pre-scripted talking points. The announcers are constantly getting instructions and prompts from the truck. Someone whispered in Gruden's ear during the Bears-Cowboys game a couple of weeks ago that it was time to mention Conte, and Chuckie of course did, while simultaneously a negative graphic on the Bears defense was shown on the left side of the screen, while on the right side the camera lingered on Conte. Not subtle at all, but the DWFs are too well programmed to comprehend basic propaganda techniques.

There is no question that all ESPN, CBS, NBC, Fox, and NFLN TV announcers have radio transmitters in their headphones (connecting them with writers/producers) during every broadcast. One constant occurrence in which this becomes quite obvious is whenever the announcers accidentally misspeak. Usually, several seconds of silence will tick by following each gaffe (while handlers inform them of the verbal blunder)…followed by the announcer saying: “Sorry, I actually meant to say…â€￾

As Don noted, the fact that all announcers are given pre-scripted “game talking pointsâ€￾ couldn’t be more evident either. Sometimes, these talking points become quite comical as they make little sense in the context of the game being discussed. For instance, a few weeks ago during the Bears-Cowboys game on MNF, it was “in the scriptâ€￾ that Gruden emit glowing praise of Julius Peppers. Peppers, who was invisible all night, finished with one tackle. During almost every NFL game, video highlight packages or complex statistical graphics are clearly prepared beforehand and are utilized when appropriate to emphasize whatever Casteon dogma is applicable to the contest.

You guys are exactly right. The fixation on white defensive backs after each and every defensive mistake is disgusting. It's unfair and in a way it's childish, using the power of phony propaganda to support an ideology. What d-bags. We have talked about this many times on the site, and yes like Wes mentioned I too can clairvoyantly predict the camera zooming to the white DB after an error and surprise and amaze my friends.

The last few years I was able to do this with family and friends when Jordan Kovacs patrolled the defensive backfield of the UM Wolverines. He was hated by the fans because it seemed to them (!) each and every big play was his fault. Thus after a big gain by the opponent I could fearlessly predict that, even though he was on the other side of the field, I could say with confidence: "that was Kovacs fault--watch", and sure enough they would zoom in on him. Nevermind that Kovacs was the Big tens 2nd leading tackler, he also was victimized for every big play Michigan gave up.

This kind of thing used to make me rage but like the white male as the goof ball in every commercial, the white guy the criminal in every cop show, it eventually wears you down.

I sometimes try to assume that the people responsible for this, and it's the directors, because they decide what camera to cut to, are not really anti-White bitches, but have other less malicious reasoning for this. Maybe they are not really sports fans and are more the "show-biz" type who do close ups of a million interchangeable black affaltes, and let's face it, there are only a few pale-faces to cut to, want to interject some "diversity" into the whole thing, and cut to a kid that looks like their next door neighbor. Heck the directors might not even realize it as a negative thing since in their world, publicity, any kind, even negative, is a plus. Maybe they think, hey here's a chance for their mom and pop to see sonny boy on the tube!

More likely they are looking at screens of 20 black players and think, hey wait, there's a white guy out there, put him up, no one will complain if we malign a white kid but there may be a Holder investigation if we excessively profile black dbacks as bad players. But I think it's all just the AGENDA, pounded in them relentlessly, reinforced without end, and rewarded richly that keeps this kind of thing going.

I haven't had much time to post recently, but here's an article from several days ago that I finally got a chance to post here at CF:

http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/123320/chris-conte-surgery-muddies-safety-spot

Bad news, is Chris will miss 4 to 5 months due to shoulder surgery. Good news, is it sounds like Chris' time with the Bears isn't running out so quickly, despite all the DWF hate?

I'm sure if I bothered to go to some Bears message board/fan site, all the neutered white girly-men, as well as 99% of their fellow black (virulently anti-white) posters are demanded the Bears draft a safety in round 1 to replace whitey.

It's a good article, because the ESPN writer (who is black) seems to go out of his way to defend him as very athletic and worthy of being an entrenched starter. Also seems like the Bears front office and coaches really like him...which is most important.

The Powers That Be and their mindless followers would like nothing more than to purge the safety position of its few remaining whites and make it 100% black like cornerback.

Good for him. He was singled out and highly ridiculed by media despite rest if Bears defense absolutely sucking. He's not perfect I'd like to see him be more physical in run game. But he has potentialhas a ball hawking FS.

The sinister Pro Football Focus ratings surprisingly place Conte in the top third of safeties, yet Weenieworld still puts their trademark bigoted spin on things, calling him a "replacement level" talent. "Replacement level" apparently means "stuck with a White guy until a real athlete takes over."

Buccaneers re-signed S Chris Conte to a one-year contract. Although he remained a replacement-level starter, Conte had the best season of his career back deep last year, earning PFF's No. 27 grade among 88 qualified safeties in pass coverage. Conte turned 27 in February and has forced 11 turnovers over the past three years. He'll return as the Bucs' starting free safety.

Conte had a good bounce back year last year in Tampa. Especially considering he was only signed to a 1year/1.5 million dollar contract. Glad to see Tampa signed him, got themselves a bargain buy. Any idea how much he got paid this time?

He's forced 11 turnovers last 3 years and still zero stability contract wise. Apparently He's only good for one year deals... Severely underpaid!!

I'm sure this will do nothing to appease the DWFs in Tampa, Chicago and around the nation who have an irrational hatred for Conte:

PLAYER SPOTLIGHT
Bucs S Chris Conte won’t get a lot of credit for Sunday’s win at Atlanta. But he made two touchdown-saving tackles against the Falcons. Coach Dirk Koetter says Conte is one of the most athletic players on the team who could play cornerback in a pinch. http://www.lindyssports.com/nfl/pick/tampa-bay-buccaneers-1-0-at-arizona-cardinals-0-1/411900/

I've always liked Conte the DWFs unfairly ran him outta Chicago. Nice to see him end up somewhere he's wanted and bounce back strong in his career.

I saw a couple of years ago that Pro Football Focus graded Conte out to be an average starting safety - middle of the pack. That's not bad.

He certainly deserves more credit than the MSM and DWFs give him.

Conte is the worst victim of the "when a receiver blows past the defense for a touchdown, show repeated close-ups of {the defensive back} even if he was nowhere near the play" trick the media use to assign blame.
