A small but loud media contingent want to do away with NFL Cheerleaders. A female sports writer for USA Today got on her "jealous" high horse calling for their demise. And in the spirit of getting rid of the "Grid Girls" some want to do away with the Ring Girls in boxing and other events too.

In another thread I discussed the terrible new rule by Formula One to do away with the Grid Girls despite the fact that the Grid Girls LOVED their job and were very upset that "politically correct" no nothings got their way.

Well I am glad to see some push back. Not only are some of the drivers pissed off about having no Grid Girls the people who run the events in Monaco and Russia want to bring the Grid Girls back. In other words they feel that it should not be against the law for men to actually enjoy themselves gazing at pretty young women dressed up in sexy outfits.

The truth is whether it is cheerleaders , ring girls or girls on the race track they add to the overall excitement of events. These ladies help create a fun atmosphere that blends in with the sporting event. Football without cheerleaders is like pancakes without syrup or hot dogs without mustard. They go together. Heaven forbid people have FUN in this day and age.

Has anyone else noticed that since the beginning of the "MeToo" witch hunt, that age old staple of advertising -- cleavage -- has pretty much suddenly disappeared along with showing off legs and butts. Even bra ads, which seemed to make up about half the ads in newspapers, are becoming extinct. There's no question that women and girls have been over-sexualized in the media, but the feminists will take it all the way to the other extreme if they can. Exactly Chris which is why I believe that getting rid of the Grid Girls is completely an anti female maneuver. It taps into an ancient ritual of fear and hatred of women. And at the end of the day despite some female bitching on the sidelines it is men who ultimately make these final decisions.

The Grid Girl is a nice job for young women. It teaches them social skills, comradeship along with
the development of poise. Unlike the uncouth behavior that is all the rage these days these girls learn how to behave in a sophisticated setting among crowds where good manners are mandatory.

A great opportunity for aspiring young women. It sure beats flipping burgers or other drudgery type jobs. Which is why the Grid Girls were very upset that some ******* dude that runs Formula 1 decided they were expendable because of the "changing social customs surrounding scantily clad chicks."

What changing social customs? Most everyone enjoyed the Grid Girls being at the track. This ******* at Formula 1 doesn't seem to realize that pretty girls who are smiling, friendly and dressed up in sexy (but not over the top) outfits NEVER goes out of style.

Another factor is that women tend to hate other women far more than men hate other men. I’m not taking about blue-haired feminist AntiFa types, either, but normal women with husbands and children. I see it every day and I don’t understand it. It’s the reason you see so many women who only have male friends.

This phenomenon is one explanation given for Trump’s improbable election victory, as all of these normal woman seemed to despise Hillary. These are the same women that overwhelmingly voted for Obama.

Monaco the gorgeous setting for the Formula 1 race that started this morning has returned the Grid Girls. There are a few differences though. They don't "do" as much like holding the cards and there are grid "guys" with them. Not to put too fine a point on it but grid guys? Completely useless. Ha. Anyway a great racing day with Monaco and the Indy 500 just about to get underway. Summer is here.

By the way Tom Brady was in Monaco as he is involved with the Red Bull team.

As western societies aspire to become Saudi Arabia the Miss America pageant has decided to stop having the swimsuit competition. Not to belabor the obvious but it strikes me that the ONLY reason men ( the ones that bother to tune in) watch the pageant is BECAUSE of the swimsuit competition.
