Sailer just posted an article over at Taki's Magazine talking about Toby Gerhart, the caste system as well as his usual genetics-obsessed bent. It's a pretty decent read at a pretty decent website. I've become a big Sailer fan over the last few months. Check it out.

Wow, my article was actually cited! That is pretty cool. I never thought I'd see that happen. And this happens at the same time when I get to see the replay of the Stanford/UCLA game that I couldn't pick up last week.

jared, yep that's the network. The wife went to sleep and I'm enjoying watching Toby run the ball. I haven't been able to see any of his games except the Wake Forest loss. I was the first CFer to post about Toby back in 2005 and I really hope he gets a fair shot in the NFL. He's sure off to a great start this season. I hope he has a monster game against Oregon State.

Well enjoy the game, I'm headed to bed myself. I just wish Toby would lower his pad level a little bit for the next level. I kind of want to see more of him as a receiver but I'm not sure if that would hurt his chances of actually getting designed carries (like what's happening with Brian Leonard).

I check Sailer's site every day. It's kind of weird to post this here, because no matter how much I like Sailer, this is the site that converted me from the "loose hips", "blacks are more suited as cornerback, even to the extent that no whites can play" mindset that he has. I now disagree with him on this, but he is a really cool, interesting author.

Steve is "growing" as the libs like to say about arch-conservatives who come to Washington and quickly start voting in a way more friendly towards their agenda. I particularly like the way he mentions Caste Football in a neutral way -- no prefixing it with "racist" or some other pejorative. Let the reader take a look and decide for himself. That's the way it's supposed to work in a free and open society.

Good point Don. Publicity like this can't be anything but good. Sailer is still off on several issues, imho, but I'm glad he's open minded enough to modify some of his earlier views and sees CF as a legitimate site for sports info. Its about time he figured out what we've known for years!

Thanks jared! It was nice to finally get an article together for the CF homepage, and I am thankful to all those who helped me collect info on white starters this year. Like Don has said lately, whites are starting to pay more attention to racial truth tellers like us now that Obama is in office and things are getting worse than ever. I hope this awakening continues! I've been saying ever since I started posting here that anti-white discrimination in sports is just one part of a larger set of problems for whites that are connected to many areas of modern American life. Now, we're seeing this connection become more concrete as whites are being pushed and agitated to an ever greater extent.

Yeah Mr. Wassall, he seems like a really cool guy. Even though I disagree with him on some things (particularly his opinion on corners), I don't see any deception or malice.

While it was a good article overall, I like others disagree with his "reasoning" of why blacks are over 90% of starting RBs in the NCAA. There is no good reason or logical explanation for blacks to "dominate" the position. Even with all the "improvement to turf" and the like, whites should still be half of or more of the starting RBs. The ONLY thing I believe blacks may have a genetic advantage ON AVERAGE at is straight line speed from 40-120 yards. Whites have proven time and time again that they are just as good at leaping, vertically and laterally. Explosiveness, quickness, whites are just as good. With strength and endurance, whites may have a slight advantage ON AVERAGE.

Even with blacks having a minor advantage at on aspect of the dozens needed for running back, since you have 6x as many whites as blacks in the US, there should at least be just as many whites with the straight line speed attributes to be able to play the position.

That's why there's no good legitimate reason, and it is a pet-peeve of mine when people attempt to give one. At least he did point out the fallacy of blacks wanting to make money more than whites which drives them to pro-sports. Whites are so "privileged" that they play center and special teams! It's as if the NFL had a Gentleman's Agreement that after Riggins was gone, a white RB would no longer be the main ball carrier. Since Toby Gerhart has the triangle numbers (height, weight, speed), it will be interesting to see what interst the NFL has in him.

Steve Sailer has some more musings on football, this time about black QB's. Some interesting stuff statistically wise but I get the sense that he's missing something. At least he admits to being wrong about blacks being the future of QB's back when he commented on the Rush Limbaugh controversy. I'm surprised he didn't bring up the low average IQ's of blacks as he has done on other occasions. It would really apply to their inadequecy in this era of complicated schemes.

In all the brouhaha over Rush Limbaugh being prevented from buying part of an NFL team, has anybody noticed that his endlessly denounced remark -- the one he actually said in 2003, not the libelous made-up ones we've been hearing lately -- about the media overrating black quarterbacks for political reasons has been largely vindicated?

Six years later, 2009 is turning out to be a bust for black quarterbacks in the NFL. Not a single one is having a good season.

There's an interesting piece on Steve Sailer at Occidental Observer, a site I have a lot of respect for and which published J. B. Cash's article "The Racial Caste System in Sports" earlier this year. Regarding Sailer's ancestry, there's this nugget:

I've always liked Steve Sailer. He's a very good writer that will touch on politically incorrect topics and seems to know there is a caste system in sports- at least to some degree. I liked how he responded to the question from a reader,
"What will we do if we find out that genetics make whites more intelligent than blacks on average?"

He said something like this (paraphrased): "We deal with it. People have a habit of making a bigger deal of things than need be.

The founding fathers of our great country stated "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights"

Notice they didn't say that all men are equal, just that all men are created equal by the Creator to be endowed with certain unalienable rights.

If we find out that there is a genetic intellectual disparity along ethnic lines, it certainly won't mean the end of things as we know it. Society will learn to adapt and deal with it."

I think this was a well written response of dealing with an un-pc and pessimistic question in an optimistic light by Sailor. I wish I had found the blog when I did a search. Most "journalists" or "columnists" are cowards and wouldn't be brazen enough to write- even in a light hearted way- about a topic like this as Sailor did. That takes courage because even un-pc things are sometimes labeled "racist" and "hate crimes" by the radical left. I commend Sailor for standing up to the thought police in our cultural Marxist day and age.

Unfortunately Steve Sailer seems to have taken a couple of giant steps backward with this blog post, in which he asserts that college football teams can only win with lots of fast blacks:

Football's not like basketball, where Duke can compete for the national championship with a team of whites, mixed race kids like Shane Battier, and mostly upscale blacks like Grant Hill. College football teams are huge.

His logic is terribly wrong. Kyle Singler is very athletic as well as Czyz. Redick is a good athlete as well. I watched almost all the Duke games his senior season and he showed great athletic ability against some of the nations best guards.

Considering how muchSailer writes Bell Curve type analyses, he should be very aware that even if blacks on average are slightly faster in short straight-line speed, there will always be exceptions among Whites, and especially so given the far larger pool of White football players as compared to black ones. He also ignores all the many other factors that go into being a successful football player that don't involve straight-line speed. To name just one, the white advantage in hand-eye coordination is far more pronounced than the black advantage in straight-line speed. That advantage alone should result in the WR position being much whiter than what it is. Then there's intelligence, work ethic, selflessness, stamina, strength, short-space quickness and lateral movement, and on and on. To reference a recurring NFL phenomenon among black players, Sailer "dropped the ball" with this one. Edited by: Don Wassall

All those "super fast" NCAA black players really helped out Oklahoma vs. BYU....or USC vs. Stanford this season.

I could only imagine the drastic difference in the racial makeup of NCAA players (in all sports) should colleges ever recruit the most deserving and athletic american high school players. I'm absolutely positive that football would be 85%+ white. The quality of play, sportsmanship, and overall athleticism would certainly be better.
