Let's keep this one clean.
I wanted to say about Jeff Janis - was he going to become Jordy Nelson 2.0? Of course not. But he, at the very least, had the potential to become a solid #3 receiver - on the field for passing downs, consistently makes 4 or 5 catches a game, doesn't get a huge contract but gets paid enough to be set for life and take care of his family - there are dozens of black players assigned that role, but extremely few Whites.
It comes back to the point that the original thread was making - if a White player is not a superstar - except for the positions that are Caste-approved (QB, OL, TE, special teams) - he's quickly going to be cast(e) aside. That's why guys like Jordy, C-Mac, Kuechly, JJ & TJ Watt are allowed to shine, but there should be dozens more White players at WR, RB, and defense who are not as spectacular as the guys mentioned above, but good enough to be solid starters. But there aren't.
