Where? He should go in the first but the mock drafts have him going anywhere from the mid 2nd round to the 4th round. My best guess is someone takes him in the late first to late 2nd area.
Good question! I know one thing...his stock rose bec of his incredibly athletic play chasing down Cam Newton from behind and punching the ball out of his hands for a fumble + brother's NFL MVP Def Playerof the Year Award is headed his way!

I can't speak about him specifically as a prospect,because I rarely watch college football....when I did watch him, he looked very good.
I can say this: For the last seven years, at least, we keep hoping the Patriots will scoop up our white defensive stars and keep these first round talents from slipping into the 2nd or 3rd round.-- i.e. Dan Connor, Eric Weddle, James Lauriniatis, ect. Year in and year out, even the DWF'sthinkthe Patriots will chase these "high-motor" defenders that "Belichick will love"in their silly little mock drafts. Many current mocks have Ryan Kerrigan or JJ Watt going to the Pats in round one.
It never happens. Their last white high pick on defense, I think, was Andy Katzenmoyer (back in 1999 with Pete Carroll coaching). The only two whites that play a loton their defense are undrafted Mike Wright and ex-street free agent Rob Ninkovich. Dane Fletcher might have a nice future at ILB, buthe alsowent undrafted. Even in the 2000's, their glory years, they never added one to the mix after Vrabel, Bruschi and Ted Johnson, who allcame into the NFL in '95 or '96.
Hopefully this will change, soon....as their defense has been a real problem for them the last few years.

Well apparently there is an unspoken rule about how many whites you can have on your team. Kind of how the Colts have almost all whites on offense but only one on defense, and he just started last year. Think of it as a diversity salary cap. The Pats used to be more white friendly on defense, but it looks like Bellicheck has compromised and spent most of his white salary cap on offense with Woodhead, Welker, Gronkowski and the all white line. He can afford a few whites on defense like Rob, Fletcher and Wright in the rotation, but anymore and he would go over the cap. 
Kind of like the Packers, Jordy Nelson should be getting more time but they would go over the cap if he started having 1,000 yard seasons to go along with Clay Matthews being the best pass rusher in the league.
So if they were to whiten up on defense then it would cut into how much playing time guys like Woodhead got. Otherwise they would be too dominant of a team! If the whites on offense were having an off day then the whites on defense could bail them out. Can't have that in the NFL! I guess maybe Bill figures hes a defensive minded coach and can get the more out of lesser talents on that side of the ball. Hes had mixed results. It wouldve helped this year in the playoffs.
Of course I am being sarcastic but it seems to be partially true, it seems you can only have so many whites on your team before people start crying racism, which has kind of already happened to the Patriots despite having a majority black defense. I guess no one notices them though because they aren't that good at defense. The offense sticks out, the same with the Colts. If Bill wouldve had won another Superbowl he might be able to test the limits a little more. I would like to see one more white on offense though, Matt Jones, to be the deep threat in a Randy Moss type role. The offense would really be unstoppable. Too bad it will never. The 6'6 receiver with 4.3 speed remains at home. I think Julian Edelman could fill the role as the deep threat though, but they hardly use him.
Meanwhile guys like Raheem can have almost all black teams and no one notices. More fans stopped going to the games though, even though they did pretty good this year. I remember as a kid, even though not racially aware, the Saints didn't appeal to me even though I was into football, and my dad was a Saints fan. I liked Bobby Hebert but they just didn't appeal to me, like the dome patrol and the 300 pound runningback Ironhead. I remember Gil Finnerty when he got some brief playing time, I thought I rooted for him because he was a local guy, but it was probably because he was white like me. Then when Jake Delhomme got brief playing time I rooted for them. I thought it was because he was a local Cajun boy, but probably the same situation as before. When he was let go and made it to the Superbowl with the Panthers I didn't watch the Saints until 2006 with Drew Brees and the Snow Patrol. Even dwfs need at least one white guy to relate to, be it the quarterback or the fullback. Can't be a position like safety or olb because those are the scapegoats for everything that goes wrong. Linemen, tight ends and middle linebackers are sometimes acceptable. Usually has to be the "brings his lunch pail to work" type player with all the stereotypical comments.

It will largely depend on his combine and pro-day workouts. Remember, big brother Clay wasn't that highly rated during his senior year. He was at most considered a 3rd round pick. But his playing time with USC kept increasing and his stock kept going up. It reached peak status during his workouts and he worked his way all the way into the first round. He's now a perennial all-pro.
Casey may not be as good as Clay, (who is), but that pedigree alone will help him get drafted high. The rest is up to him, and my guess is that by the time the draft comes around, he'll be a solid 2nd rounder.

Let's hope the Patriots do take him and other white players for their defense. You never know things might just work out right this year and it finally happens that the Patriots have a majority white starting lineup in 2011 (assuming play goes uninterrupted).
