I'm a mopar guy. Back in my high school days I had both a 1968 and 1969 Dodge Charger RT! The 69 Charger is the the exact year of the "General Lee" from
the TV Show and the movies "The Dukes of Hazzard". I had a red one and a blue one. Both very beautiful cars and the fastest car in my high school.

Thanks my friend. I used to be alot more shy in my teenage days but the car helped my social skills. So many of the pretty girls wanted to get rides home
in it. This forced me to talk more and to come out of my shell. I still love those cars to this day.

In my late teens and early 20's I owned and miss everyday since: a '66 Chevy Caprice, a '64 Chevelle Malibu SS and a '78 Pontiac Trans Am BB400. The Chevelle was wickedly fast with a small block 350475BHP motor, Turbo 400 Hi stall TQ with a B&M shift kit, 12 bolt rear end with 4:10 Posi, Wien hi rise, hooker headers etc etc Think the line from American Graffiti "wait till I get this sucker rolling"

Yes being a lifelong Mopar Guy I love the older Cudas and Challengers. Good news BeyondfedUp. Dodge is going to bring back a retro version
of the Cuda either in 2022 or 2023. It will be smaller than the current Challengers and will every every engine from a v6 to the Hellcat Engine. It
also will come in both a hardtop and a convertible. Can't wait to see it hit the market someday soon!

It's bound to be done so it might as well be me. I might as well throw in the most seen, watched, famous 'Cuda ever... and even going up against another one of another color.
The "71 was very unique because that was the only year to have the different headlights and the type of "gills" on the sides like it did. Three of the four used in the series (yes, they had four of them) did not have the original side gills and were fabricated. Nash was hip and this car was beyond cool even though everyone knows Hollywood is fake. But hey, in this case who cares?

Or a convertible with "options" which make for an upgrade...
I had a gold 1987 Fiero GT. Saw it sitting in a dealer's lot while looking for a more "practical" car and ended up buying it in 1989. Sweet car, but with the engine in the back the front end was little more than plastic and so about the worst car ever to be in if there was a head-on crash.

I always thought the Fiero GTs were cool looking. Had no idea the engine was in back. Still looked cool and sleek. How was the handling?
The Fiero GTs weren't really muscle cars, just nice looking sports cars. Mine handled just fine but I went for the looks more than the horsepower. It had pop-up headlights and the interior looked really cool, especially when lit up at night.
Wanted to keep mine and let it become a classic as I kept the miles down, but not being a mechanic the cost of parts and labor would have been prohibitive as time went on. Bought it for $9,500 when it was two years old and ended up selling it for just $3,500 in '98 even though it had only 28,000 or so miles on it.
Fieros were only made for four years and I almost never see one anymore.

Ok, yes. I thought the look was very sharp. I liked Pontiacs pretty much across the board. I had a '77 Grand Prix my dad passed on to me. I wish I hadn't sold it no sooner than I had in the early 80's. I was not thinking how good it was.

Another mopar I owned was a clone of a 1969 Dodge 440 Six Pack Superbee. A real one numbers matching is close to 100,000 so I got one that was identical
but was originally a 318 car. Had to change the K Frame and upgrade some things but it looked exactly like this car in the pic. The reason they call it a 440 Six Pack
is because it was a 440 engine with 3 two barrel carbs on top of the engine. It ran on the center 2 barrel carb normally until you put the pedal to the medal. Then the
other two carbs kick it and you have all 6 barrels of carbs sucking that gas down and throwing you back in your seat as you hold on for dear life. Very fast and powerful
and with the huge scoop it was a head turner. The hood was a factory fiberblass hood held down only by 4 hood pins. You could remove the hood to work on it easier but it was mainly to show off the engine at the car shows! Wish I still had it. As I said I'm a Mopar Guy for life.
