From the article:

"He was moved to the more traditional fullback role by his senior season..."

More traditional role??? That makes no sense at all unless they're alluding to the fact that he is a WHITE TAILBACK! If Steven Jackson was moved to fullback does that mean he'd be moved to a more traditional role?? I think not.

I was just on the Rams web site and they have Leonard listed as the 2nd string running back to Steven
Jackson albeit unofficially. Finally a white running back that is actually listed as a running back. I can't wait for friday night to go to my local sports bar and watch Leonard run the ball. As a matter of fact I encourage all of the contributors on this site so they can to go to their local sports bars and demand to be able to watch the game we must support our own just like every other ethnic group. One foot note the sports bar must have a big sattelite dish that can find preseason games normally broadcast to the teams home market they are easy to find. I hope Leonard rips it up also the NFL network will show reruns of all preseason games. This game will be replayed at 10 AM easterntime on saturday august 11th enjoy watching everyone.Edited by: White Power

Wish I could pick that game up. St. Louis plays San Diego next Saturday in a nationally televised game.

The NFL Network is rebroadcasting all of the games, you should be able to see it on the Dish. The weasels at Comcast moved the NFL Network to their sports teir starting last week. I'm still debating if I'll fork over the extra $6 a month just for one channel.

From NFL.com front page:

"There was a more heralded rookie runner in Minnesota on Friday, but it was Brian Leonard that scored in the Rams' win over the Vikes in one of four preseason games"

and from the recap:

"Leonard, the second-round draft pick from Rutgers, was the star for St. Louis with a 10-yard touchdown run up the middle that gave his team a 7-3 lead. The backup to Pro Bowl pick Steven Jackson, Leonard rushed nine times for 36 yards and caught five passes for 30 yards."

This is really great news. The only sad thing is that we all know that he could be a starter on alot of other teams. I hope the Rams use him alot. I have a feeling that S.Jackson is not going to want to share the ball that much.

It's really sad because we all know that Staley,Forsey,Kretschmer, Hartigan,Smith,Lumsden
and some others could have done the same thing if
they were only given a fair chance. The NFL will continue to remain a joke to me until they start giving these guys a fair chance! Brian Leonard can help possibly pave the road for future guys.

The Rams will be one of my favorite teams with M.Bulger,B.Leonard and D.Bennett! Let's go Rams!

The Eagles will be a blast to watch with Kevin Curtis and Jeremy Bloom. Curtis has been unstoppable in their practices. He caught another 80 yard td bomb yesterday. They are raving about his ability!

Because of previous work plans, I was only able to catch most of the second quarter of the game on tv. Brian looked good out there. He was cutting very well in open space, had a TD run and had a good catch. My father and brother have tickets to watch the Rams plays the Chargers. I haven't really had time to judge people's reaction to Leonard here in St. Louis. If they like Steven Jackson, who by all accounts is a good citizen and does charity work here in St. Louis, they will love Leonard.

I can't wait to see him run the ball! I almost wish I had the NFL network back in Utah so I could see him every week, but I guess I'll just make do with a few games a year.

What a rare treat to see 2 whites in the backfield with Hedgecock blocking for Leonard on his TD run

Good grief, the Rams could run a play with Leonard, Hedgecock, Klopfenstein and Bennet on the field at one time, which combined with Bulger and I think 4 whites on the O-Line, would amount to nine whites on the Offense at one time. Wow, throw in an hispanic, and you've got an offense that would look like America.

Being a lifelong Cowboys fan, I have always hated the Eagles. But if McNabb is going to be throwing to Curtis and Bloom often, it will be awfully hard to not start cheering for them. A black QB with a white WR (Curtis) as his main weapon and deep threat. That's unique for today's NFL.

While it's great to enjoy the sight of Leonard running through defenses, we must remember that this is not likely to last. NFL and Caste system reality dictates that once the regular season begins, Leonard will only get a handful of touches per game, and at least half of those will probably come when he is playing fullback. Now if things were fair and honest, then a team with a glaring need at RB (like Tennessee or Green Bay) would have drafted Leonard, and he'd be the favorite to start for either of them. Instead, a team with one of the best young RBs in the league selected him, ensuring that (barring injury) he will never be a starting RB. It really is a crime that derelicts like Brandon Jackson and Chris Henry are given legitimate chances at starting in the NFL, while a true talent like Leonard must be satisfied with either bulking up and becoming a blocker or only getting a few touches here and there as Jackson's backup. Yes, Virginia, there is a conspiracy....

Wow thats taking it one step further than many. Most just believe that whites are looked at as inferior athletes and thus are not "allowed" to play certain positions. Are you seriously saying that it was dictated to whom Leonard would be drafted to?

I'm not so sure if you guys know or don't know but here in St. Louis, there is already some talk going on. Steven Jackson set a goal of 2500 total yards this season and Linehan seems to be with him on that.

"I hope he does (get 2,500)," Linehan said. "There should be a lot of points on the board and wins to go with it."

That doesn't bode well for Brian.

also about Brian Leonard from the article...

In addition, the whole idea of drafting Rutgers running back Brian Leonard in the second round last April was to give Jackson an occasional break during games.

"He can give me a break in practice," Jackson joked.

In fairness he did say the same thing about Stephen Davis last year. He just wants the rock. But it would benefit both Brian and Steven if they got to share the ball. But if he does go for 2500 yds., that doesn't mean too many touches for Brian.

Tomlinson had 2300 yards at total last year and Turner got 500yards on rushing so that dont really mean anything! The only problem with St-Louis is that their offense now have Bennett and McMichael..That not Jackson who is gonna have a big big season but Marc Bulger is gonna have a HUGE season

The one thing with the Chargers was that they blew away alot of teams and were able to get LT off the field. Also LT was the main focal point. Outside of Gates, they really didn't have a go to receiver last year. Gonzales will help out this year for SD. The Chargers D was decent. The Rams' D probably will struggle especially with the secondary. It could be shootouts and if so, that could mean even less rushing touches for Leonard. Also the Rams have 3 top WR's and a good TE. Leonard will fill into the mix but I am just a bit worried that he may not get as many handoffs as compared to catches from the backfield as I think he should get. And yes Bulger will have a great year.

The way in which these blackletes are pandered to as seen in the above article is so illustrative of the double standard that exists in modern pro sports. Plus, how many coaches in the old days would have set a goal for a player to break a record? Just goes to show you how much white men have been changed thanks to feminism and cultural Marxist media elites over the last several decades. The coaches might as well let the players decide everything.

Linehan hasnt set a goal for jackson, Jackson set it for himself and why wouldnt Linehan want Jackson to get it it means more wins for the rams

im a rams fan and lve the fact that we have brian this isnt a typical caste situation Jackson is one of the best backs in the league and if brian gets a chance to shine and prove he can run as well as we know he can it should hopefullypave the wya for other whit e runnigback

now if Leonard was behind the likes of jay kay harris or Minor or JD washington then id be screaming caste at the top of my voice.Leoanrd will prove many people wrong this year and i personally cant wait
