I mentioned in previous posts how it's, pretty much,
first round or bust for current White quarterback's. With the exception of
Brock Purdy, gone are the days that White undrafted or latter round quarterback's can expect to be entrenched starters. It's even an uphill climb for White quarterback's drafted in rounds 2 or 3. At least, it seems that way in recent years.
Besides Purdy, I forgot to mention
Will Levis got a chance to start early. He was actually 33rd overall (1st pick round 2). Recently, I've noticed the media and DWF's have started the debate of who's better:
Will Levis vs. Cam Ward?
****
Here's a conversation with a respected, veteran NFL writer who claims not only was
Will Levis better early, but mentions how the fans and media "
crucified" Levis, but have been very soft with Ward.
Here is A.I.'s take (reflecting DWF comments?)
**** Keep in mind Levis played most of the 2024 season with a busted shoulder (AC Joint) that needed season ending (2025) surgery to repair.
