The resentment towards Neil O'Donnell still persists today. Just check out the Steelers Fever forums and you'll see it. There is a website called mcmillenandwife.com that is really vile in their hatred of O'Donnell, a decade after he played for them. It really is amazing how insipid the Steeler fans are. The way they treated former QB Mark Malone like merde is probably the saddest of all. And to think these wonderful fans, every Terrible Towel-waving one of them, were so saddened when Terry Bradshaw came down with injuries (the same Terry Bradshaw who was treated like sh*t until he became the focal point of their last two Super Bowl wins). They really know how to stand behind their players regardless. Cliff Stoudt, another good QB who had to endure similar treatment during the same time Malone was experiencing it. Really amazing when you look at the semantics of it all. Yes, I was around when Kordell made the scene and everyone was ga-ga over him and of naturally, the black quaterback mystique was put into full force. It took years of ineptitude to make the Steeler fans turn against him, which does seem shocking when you think of it. Edited by: OldSchoolBoy75
