Then replace "Black" with any other skin color or ethnicity or cultural group, and ask the same question of someone from that group, too.

Yes, I know every person has a bit of racism in them. There are studies that proves something like that.

What I don't understand is the derogatory ways in which some people refer to other races on these forums, especially blacks (Negroes? Really? And one case of 'primates'? That's just wrong).

Even if, you are looking out for your own race, does that have to involve looking down on the others? I personally would never think, 'I want black people to be the most successful and be better than whites/Asians/etc.'

One race looking down on another as inferior can never amount to anything good. History itself has proven that.

The world would be a much better place if everyone, no matter what race, nationality or religion would try to live in peace, co-operate and understand each other.

The reality of the world is that people will always migrate from their country and countries will always be diverse in ethnicity, culture and race. The world has become very connected mainly because of travel by ships or airplanes and the internet.

America became a great nation because of open borders.

Affirmative action, like racism, is not a one-way street.

Are you telling me that if two people of different races love each other, they should not marry/get into a relationship? I see no reason why skin color should get in the way of that.

Civil rights ensure that people are protected from discrimination because of mental disability, gender, religion, race, national origin, age, and gives individual rights. Like many other things, it can lead to negative things (feminist extremism, religious extrimism) but it has done alot of good.
