While not an example of an Athlete's crime, I just read that Demaryius Thomas' mother AND grandmother are in prison, one for 20 years the other for life. Dang. That's rough. Apparently when he was 12 the house they lived in was raided for cocaine and baby mama, and baby mama's mama, got busted. Life in the ghetto..... happily though both will be watching the Super Bowl courtesy of the Dept of Corrections.

I saw that report, and saw it shown in a way that was supposed to tug at our heartstrings. Frankly, my reaction was to bust out laughing. Stereotypes exist for a reason.

HAHA so did I. I thought I was the only one. It just seemed funny to me.
Public radio was kvetching today about all the criminals in jail for drugs (mostly crack) and Congress is supposed to be reducing mandatory sentences to let a bunch of them out. Of course NPR loves the idea of letting people out of prison so they can go on to be doctors and lawyers and such, but I laughed when they mentioned that there is no reason to have so many people in jail because "violent" crime has gone down so much in recent years. Umm maybe all those dicks being in jail had something to do with it?
Note that I'm not a drug warrior but jailing large amounts of young blacks ends up making society safer no matter what the reason they use to put them there. I know because NPR just told me so.
This has gotten a lot of press here in the Detroilet area, this young fella who goes to my alma mater (HS) is a first class douche bag. But as I have said many times if you think this hurts his chances you are wrong. Coaches love out of control black kids. Nothing says 5 star recruit like poor judgement and violent tendencies. The goal of a major college program is to sneak a guy like that through 2 or 3 years of college without committing any felonies that can't be covered up. That is the key to success for a college coach.
Yeah some people will bitch, until the wins start piling up. Then it's all forgotten.

A favorite trope of the MSM is "Why are so many people in prison when crime is down?" The first instance I recall was by a New York Times "reporter" named Fox Butterfield some 15 years ago.
There are more prison inmates because sentencing guidelines became stricter over the last 30 years. To an extent, this has reduced crime.
The police state has cut down crime among suburban and working class Whites, but not much among urban blacks and Mexicans. I feel badly for young White kids today; cops used to often cut them a break for youthful indiscretions as long as they weren't too serious, now the police are revenue raisers for strapped governments at all levels, and entrapments, roadblocks, and a general "gottcha" attitude is the norm post-9/11. All in the name of protecting freedom and battling "terrorism" of course. From locked down schools to menacing police to ever greater doses of multiracialism and homosexual propaganda forced on them, this is no place for a free-spirited boy to grow up in.

I was just talking to a friend about this. How when we were kids if the cops stopped us and we had beer or even pot, they would dump it out and lecture us and then send us on our way. Now they call in the SWAT teams.
Another incentive to bust White people is too get some numbers on the White side of the ledger as the fedgov is mandating equal arrest rates for races. I recently had some dealings with local law enforcement. I hate those bastards with a passion.

My dad says the same thing. Its all about money these days. They ticket you for underage drinking/hosting. They ticket kids for weed yet there are kids overdosing on prescription pills and heroin?

Oklahoma State guard Stevie Clark has been arrested. again. and he's just a freshman.
Clark, a reserve guard (averaging 5.3 points, 2.7 assists) for the Cowboys was arrested and charged earlier this year (literally, as in January) for possession of marijuana. he was suspended for one game by the OSU coaching staff. he'd already been suspended for 4 games earlier in the season for other "youthful indiscretions."
this time, the "immature" (as he's been described by media outlets and athletic department officials) afflete was arrested and charged with "outraging public decency" for urinating out a car window.
i'm sure he's a legitimate "scholar"ship athlete, though. he's probably just misunderstood, and he will likely be exonerated as peeing out car windows is a clear demonstration of his trying to bring cultural enrichment to the boring White people of Stillwater, OK.

Woodland Hills QB Randall in trouble again

His football coach, his attorney and Woodland Hills High School officials avoided questions on Monday about their star quarterback accused of leading police on a chase with a stolen car.
Pittsburgh police arrested Harry Randall, 18, of Swissvale, whose armed robbery charge from less than a year ago remains unadjudicated since Common Pleas Judge Anthony Mariani moved the case to juvenile court with a warning that it would be Randall's “last chance†to stay out of prison.
Mariani, on vacation, could not be reached for comment about Sunday's arrest.
Randall's attorney Kaitlin Euler, who successfully argued on his behalf when police arrested him in August in the robbery of a pizza delivery man, did not return calls.
A sought-after talent on the football field, Randall was offered scholarships to attend West Virginia University, Temple University and Georgia Tech, his coach George Novak told the Tribune-Review in December.
“Harry hasn't been an angel, but he has the opportunity to do something with his life,†said Novak, who did not return calls on Monday.
Accused of stealing a neighbor's car, Randall was jailed on charges of receiving stolen property, fleeing police, reckless driving, traffic violations and other crimes.
District Attorney Stephen A. Zappala Jr. said he had just learned of the second arrest.
Zappala said he disagreed with Mariani's decision to move the armed robbery case to juvenile court, but didn't appeal because he had no basis to do so. The decision, Zappala said, “is up to the sound discretion of the court.â€
Police charged Randall and another man with robbing the delivery man at gunpoint in March, about two months before Randall's 18th birthday.
Randall is in the Allegheny County Jail under $10,000 bond while he awaits a Feb. 20 preliminary hearing on Sunday's charges.
Officers said in a complaint that they spotted a silver sedan about 1:30 a.m. at North Lang and Frankstown avenues in Homewood and began following it because their check of the license plate revealed the car was stolen from Swissvale.
Police said the driver slowed but then sped away when they turned on the cruiser's emergency lights and sirens.
Officers pursued the car at speeds reaching 75 mph on East Liberty Boulevard but lost sight of it at North Highland Avenue and Callowhill Street.
Police spotted the empty and running car on North Euclid Avenue, where it had hit several parked vehicles, and a K-9 officer and his partner tracked down a juvenile who said he jumped out of the car. The teen had a cut forehead and broken wrist, police said.
Officers saw Randall walk out of woods, covered in snow, at North Highland and Elgin Street and identified him as a the driver, the complaint said. Police searched him and reportedly found a small amount of marijuana in a pill bottle.

Armed robbery. How is this thug still walking the streets let alone being granted a scholarship to play football? Why would any university, even a community college, want to put the lives of students at risk by bringing in a dangerous criminal? Why do I continue to hear about "white privilege" and how hard negros have it when they seem to give every afrolete a slap on the wrist for serious crimes? How many more cases like this do we need to wake up DWFs from their football induced comas?
I know the answer to these questions but felt like venting, at least while I still have the right to do so in Obama's Amerika.
The crimes my students get caught at and go unpunished would blow your mind. Repeat offenders of some of the most heinous crimes are often not spending more than a weekend locked-up. Court dates are pushed into the future and almost always by the time they have court the punishment is just continued probation. And it's not just juveniles. Most of the time all the court does is sentence them to school. Making sure the criminals are walking the hallways with the innocent and often with the victims. That's what is wrong with education.

Well, uh, hey at least Rice didn't leave her knocked out in the elevator. He did show the concern and courtesy of dragging her out of it so other people could use it. That there's a mitigating factor right there, yes sir.
