Black players who crush it in preseason get every chance in the world at playing time in the regular season. Just look at the case of Russell Wilson "3rd round pick" who came in after the high payroll signing of Matt Flynn. Or look at Colin Kaepernick who crushed it in preseason and questionably takes over from Alex Smith when Alex gets hurt for ONE game. Kaepernick keeps the job. Last year a 6th round pick, Alfred Morris, gets a shot to start after a big preseason and unseats a pretty good back in Roy Helu. Or look at the case of Victor Cruz an undrafted WR, who dominated in his first preseason, gets hurt at the end and still gets a chance to star a year later.

White players who crush it in preseason occasionally get cut right away. Even superstar Welker, who went undrafted after a record tying FBS career- was cut by his first NFL team (San Diego) after looking fabulous in preseason. Danny Amendola was cut by the Cowboys after looking great in the preseason. Danny Woodhead, had the most rushing yards in a preseason game in 2010 since Mike Anderson in the mid 90s. He makes the Jets final roster, gets little playing time, then gets cut to bring back popular locker room player Jehu Caulcrick (or was it John Connor?) very early in the season. Nate Euchas, who had a dominant career at FCS Colgate and looks good on film as a powerback, was 3rd in the preseason in rushing last year. He was kept on the final roster, riding pine, for a year, and then gets cut before his 2nd year. Ryan Spadola, who absolutely dominated in his junior year at Lehigh and ran an average 40 time for a STARTING OUTSIDE WR (again 3rd at his position, in receiving this preseason) has already been cut by the Jets. He was the story of the preseason for the Jets, after his 70 yard catch- to set up the win- in the intercity game against the Giants.

Of course some teams screw white players out of auditions completely. IE. Raiders: Connor Vernon, although he was rookie MVP of OTAs, according to his coach, and reportedly had a good training camp- he had under 2 mins playing time in the final preseason game after 7 mins at best in the 3rd game (Vernon's possibly a taller, but slightly poorer version of Welker). Vernon is the ACC's all time receptions leader. Sam McGuffie, played 1:40 minutes all preseason- (best case scenario he's a Randall Cobb or Percy Harvin type), near record 4.28 40, 3.8 short shuttle ( http://instagram.com/p/V2oiryqxm_/# ) and more receiving yards- as a 1st year raw WR- than some WRs had in their 3rd or 4th years at the position invited to the combine. I only saw one play of action for Div. II record setting tailback Jordan Roberts from Charleston for the Chiefs all preseason. And yes it was at fullback! I mean why did they even sign the guy. How has this league not been successfully sued yet?

I was wondering if either of my new threads could be articles. "Crush it" in preseason comes from the NFL network preseason commercial. It basically says you can build a winning fantasy team by late round sleepers who "crushed it" in preseason. Not if they are white though, as they almost always don' t play right away at "taboo" positions, even if they are high draft picks.

I saw those commercials on the NFL Network during the preseason. They featured the leagues favorite black quarterbacks Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson. I think there was also one for a running back too (Alfred Morris?) but the ones they showed the most often were the Wilson and Kaepernick ones. Obviously they would never show a commercial like that featuring a white QB or a white player in general for that matter. These not-so-subliminal messages the NFL throws at the DWF audience should be a wakeup call for anyone that this league is definitely not about fairness.

Good post and observation TJR. Spadola's release was extra heinous due to the lack of receiving options the Jets have, especially now as the injuries pile up. After Woodhead and Spadola, no sane White man should ever sign with the Jets as an undrafted free agent.

Thanks for reminding me about Alfred Morris. He was a late pick (6th round) and had a big preseason and then unseated Roy Helu who is a pretty good back. Helu is a class act and friend to Burkhead. I even like the current Nebraska back Ameer Abdullah as Pelini seems to bring in non whiners/ race card players and Ameer was friends with Burkhead. There is no doubt Morris is very gifted, but actually- I see almost the exact same skill-set in Rex Burkhead. They are eerily similar. I'm going to add the little snippet to my article about Morris. Thanks for the reminder.

Yes, these white WRs and RBs have to think before they sign with a team. It's better to wait or go to the CFL then sign with certain teams. Loser supposed "Republican" (an extreme political rarity in the NFL- as he was grandfathered in) -Woody Johnson- is owner of one of the most far left quota teams in the league. This "Republican" (probably a neo-con) always seems to get the EXTREMELY anti-white GMs and sees no connection with racial quotas in the NFL and politics. Even when he decides to get involved- like with Tebow- he wimps out and caves in to his anti-white employees. He is a horrible hiring owner and spineless.

The Raiders are another wacko racist team and it makes me wonder about the intelligence of Sam McGuffie and "Duke grad" Connor Vernon. Vernon seems to be a bit of a wigger actually...check his twitter.

I often wonder why any sane white man would even attend a Jets game considering how anti-white the organization has been for quite a while? I wouldn't attend a Jets game for free, let alone pay anything to see an ugly, fat white coach and his black team.

When Fat Rex took over in 2009, he pumped up Mike Devito and Eric Smith, then even added Jim Leonhard to start. It looked like they would not be odious as they had been under Herm Edwards. But Fatty reverted back and became a total, full-blown Caste clown last season. This season it's even worse, if that's possible. I guess it's genetic with Rex and Rob, being born to a Caste-Stooge pioneer from the 1980's?

Also, although many here marvel at "how popular the NFL is", it's well known the Jets have had to spend millions on TV and radio ads (in the nations largest city) in recent years in hopes of attracting more season ticket holders. Maybe there losing, all-black teams are finally too much to take for any white person with even an iota of racial pride?

By the way, I think Spadola was better than "average" at the Combine. Says he ran a 4.48 at 6' 2". My guess is the average WR Combine time is closer to 4.6, considering a few years ago the average CB ran in the high 4.5's?

Here's a pretty good link from a Jets blogger for a cable TV station. He looks like a total DWF, but his views seem fair. Not only does he gently bash the Jets for releasing Spadola to bring in some total, re-tread clown (David Nelson), but he wonders why they didn't keep fellow WR Zach Rodgers?

You are right. He is faster than average for a WR at the combine. I wrote average speed for a "starting outside WR". He probably is even slightly faster than average than that for a guy his size.

CB is the fastest position and it usually times about 4.5 flat at the combine (and mid to high 4.4s for the 64 starters in the NFL). Free Safeties, WRs and RBs usually time in the mid 4.5s. Starting RBs and outside WRs in the NFL typically are about 4.5 flat and starting Split-ends are high 4.4s. Guys clearly designated as Slot WRs and Strong Safeties, which are the next fastest- time just a tad slower than these positions.

I've been looking at the "measurables" for almost a decade now. I have a pretty good take on the norms and the double standards for how white skill position players take huge hits in their draft stock for "poor" 40 times and black players with a better system to play in, less impressive tape, agility measurables and/ or production with the same "poor" 40 times don't take much hit to their stock. Just compare Marc Ingram, Jonathan Dwyer, LeGarette Blount, Steven Ridley, Montee Ball, Eddie Lacy, Stepfan Taylor and Rex Burkhead's final scouting reports/ draft stock after all running poor 40s.

Also for fun, compare Alfred Morris who didn't play in a BCS conference and Rex Burkhead's game tape, body type, 40 time, production adjusted to level of competition and you'll see they are extremely similar prospects. Both stand out, on their college tape, as good prospects for the NFL level. It's very close, but I actually think Burkhead might be slightly more talented.

This is a key. Whites need to stop spending money on teams that don't give whites a fair shot.
