I am sorry to see that you get anxiety attacks mate, you are one of the coolest guys in here (Lost is cool as well) and it sucks for you to get them.<div>
</div><div>Well anxiety attacks andpanicattacks in general can be really tricky since they make yourphysicalsymptoms feel like they can be really serious, to the point you feel like dying.</div><div>
</div><div>I was not familiar with them, until 2007. I served in the Greek Navy from 2004-2007, right after i finished my studies in law school of Athens. I served in this unit called OYK (now is called DYK) and i think in the US you call them Navy Seals, i did some co-training under NATO wings with American seals inGibraltarand Lebanon. I had an accident during the end of my service, in Somalia, during a patrol, i can't and i won't get into details, but it has left a huge scar in the back of my head, which is very obvious if i shave my head. The back skin of my head literally hanged like an "external" body from my head. To make a long story short, from 2007-2009 i suffered from this condition named post trauma panic and i had many of the symptoms you describe. What got me back in track and being normal (if i am normal really LOL) was many hours of working, working out, reading and meditation. They never happen lately, very rarely, but i now know how to handle them.</div><div>
</div><div>Avoid stress as much as you can, don't drink much coffee or alcohol and try to work out as much as possible and eat healthy. Also during the attack, try to breathe slowly and rub your neck, it usually slow down the heart pulse.</div><div>
</div><div>I hope you feel better and don't have any attacks lately.</div>
