There is another version of this commercial that has Michael Jordan, and does include a couple white male athletes.

Suprisingly, I did see the original commercial again and it DID NOT include the racist black power fists. I don't know if it was due to negative attention, or maybe it got negative reviews in a focus group. Another possibility is that it was shortened to fit a smaller ad-spot. Either way I was happy to see the racist symbol removed from the commercial. Edited by: Electric Slide

Actually, I almost wish the bigots would continue to blatantly push their luck. Over-the-top racial overtones will help alert your standard white sheeple to the "little problem" soon ratherthan later.

I like when american whites are forced to watch black racists on the idiot box....it helps with the white realization process....and the eventual revolution that must occur.

Good point. One would think that at some point, even the DWFs would remove their heads from the sand (or candy@$$es), turn off the "Hellivision", take off the Air Jordans & LT jersey, turn off the rap, re-attach their nards & wake up!!! You have to seriously question the grit (or lack there of) of some of these zombified lemmings.

Taco, the woman is triathelon competitor Jen Perez.

I dont think EAS Myoplex has ever used a black athlete in any of their ads. They used Brady Quinn before his NFL career even started. They might be the anti-Gatoraide, in that their product is actually good for you....and they seem very pro-white.

This anti-white male ad policy is limited to neither a) this era nor b) live-action spots nor c) grownup-oriented commercials.

In 1985 there was a spot for Cheerios featuring Charlie Brown and "Peanuts"' token black, Franklin. CB and Franklin are on the beach having a presurfing breakfast of Cheerios. By commercial's end Franklin is hanging five and shooting the curl with ease while CB moans, "beginner's luck".

At least CB doesn't have a wipeout.

In the middle of the college football season, Gatorade's main commercial was to show the white men who invented the drink for players to rehydrate themselves, and highlights of the white players who led the Florida Gators to victory in the '60s.

One would think this to be a good thing.

But then I'm sure some advertising racists got together and said that it wasn't O.K. for white people to tell the truth about how the product was invented, or to feel any pride in the accomplishments of the athletes of the time.

No, they had to create some anti-white drivel that denigrates us, and allows but a few white role model athletes for young people to emulate-the end result being this "G" garbage commercial.

The first or second one a few years back showed a brief clip of a whiteFlorida running back flying down the field, circa 1969. I always wondered who it was. Anyone know?

I think the original commercial wasabout the 1966 team. Of course, Steve Spurrier was the QB. The main Florida RBs from that season were Dick Trapp (HB), Larry Smith (FB). Larry Smith led the Gators in rushing from 1966-68.

The leading rusher for Florida in 1969 and 1970 was Tommy Durrance.

Sadly, Mr. Durrance died of a rare neurological disease back in 2005. Edited by: Colonel_Reb

sadly, the days of a white tailback leading Florida in rushing may be long gone... just take a look at the Gators' recruiting class this year. sickening.

The days may be missing, but not gone forever! We will see a great white Gator running back some day, and we can all cheer him on! Who would have guessed Jacob Hester would appear at LSU? I say that was as unlikely as a white RB at UF.

Today I saw a commercial for G2(I think they called it Gatorade Light).

Anyway, there are two guys named Kevin in the CM: one is the NBA's Garnett, the other a non-celebrity white man.

The gist of it is that while Garnett doesn't have to deal with a lot of things us "mortals" have to in our daily lives-since he is an immortal, overpaid NBA player-he always gives it his best. Meanwhile, the white man is some roly-poly guy who is a weekend swimmer and seemingly gives it his all as well, even though he has little talent for what he does.

Maybe it's only me, but the message that rings through loud and clear from this new Gatorade CM line is that whites can't do much athletically, especially compared to the Superman black. Let's keep denigrating whites, says the almighty Gatorade.

I won't be buying Gatorade again anytime soon, that's for sure.

I just saw the ad Van_Slyke is referring to and was going to post something about it...glad to see someone else saw the offensiveness of the commercial.

Basically just a caricature of caste stereotypes.

I remember that commercial like it was yesterday Don. I think it aired in 2004 or 2005, I'm not exactly sure. I also noticed that after a few weeks, they EDITED that part OUT of the commercial PERMANENTLY because every time I saw it, I noticed that very part of the clip was MISSING

.

These people will go to no end to...ahhhh nevermind. I don't thimk I have it in me anymore. I'm too burnt outfrom years of aggrivation. I'm totally exasperated.
