That's too good to be true, but it will be Taylor and Dahl as the only white FS duo on an NFL roster. Kudos to Steve Spagnuolo.

Cooper Taylor is listed as the starter at FS, with Dahl as the top reserve. At 6' 4", Taylor would be the tallest safety in the NFL. Before transferring to Richmond University, Taylor played at coal-black Georgia Tech and ran the team's fastest 40-yard dash (4.3 seconds) as a freshman. I hope he has a breakout campaign...

I don't follow the Casteon Giants too closely, but supposedly the defense will have another white starter in the form of DT Markus Kuhn...

It only happened because of injuries, especially at safety, but nice to see the Giants with two White defensive starters, at least for now. Taylor has the ability to be a star, he needs to take advantage of his opportunity while he can.

Bills brought back Cassel. Peculiar.

I think this had more to do with money than anything. Apparently Cassel was the highest paid of the 3 QB's on the roster so by cutting and resigning him, they probably were able to re-work his deal. Cassel isn't great but the bills absolutely need a contingency plan for if and when the crap they have QB inevitably s**ts the bed.

I agree, but teams usually tell the media when they plan to bring back someone they cut, right? They kept it shut and Cassel was free to sign with anyone he wanted, unless a verbal agreement was in place for it to work out the way it did. Regardless, the Buffalo dwfs will be outraged their Manuel won't be the backup because it would make no sense to bring back Cassel to be a 3rd stringer.

Of course the local Marxist Media Mavens are trying to couch this as purely a salary move and a brilliant one at that by thier favorite AA GM,Dougtavious Whaley,but there is clearly a lot more to this strange situation.I wrote about it with as much insight and information as I currently have over on the Buffalo Bills thread in response to your posting about it there.Cassel did have offers from other teams in the last few days,the Texans and Jets are the confirmed ones among them,and yes the DWFs are furious----both at the prospect of the precious Ebony Jenkum being demoted again(as confirmed by none other than Fat Rex himself)AND the potential threat Cassel poses to Idler Arm Taylor.

While I rejoice in the re-signing of Matt Cassel,we will still remain in a sorry state and risk further blackening of the Buffalo Bills as long as Dougtavious Whaley remains in charge of the draft and roster.In corresponding moves related directly to this resigning,Whaley released his only white draft pick in this year's draft,Mackey Award winning TE Nick O'Leary who also happens to be the grandson of the great Jack Nicklaus.In another move,Alex Tanney's stint on the practice squad lasted all of one day as he was released in favor of CB Merrill Noel.The entire 10 man practice squad is now comprised of black afroletes and the 63 man total only includes 12 whites,4 of which are specialists due to the carrying of an extra kicker who sole job is kicking off.There are only 2 whites total on the defensive side of the ball,1 starter.

Dougatvious has only drafted 3 white players total out of 21 in the 3 drafts he has overseen,Kiko Alonso,Dustin Hopkins(K),and Nick O'Leary.We all know Alonso was foolishly traded for the overrated,grossly overpaid(especially after the new contract they gave him)racist punk RB LeSean "Ni***r Shines" McCoy.Hopkins was released when they signed Dan Carpenter,and O'Leary was released today after being sparsely used in the pre-season.Of course there is never anything but praise for this fool from the DWFs and the local MMMs.Disgrazia !!!
