american soccer video game introduces story mode for the first time

the video game FIFA 17, part of the american series of FIFA games (the most played soccer game right now because it has the rights to the english premier league) intruces for the first time a scenarised career mode where you will play a young player destined to become one of the greatests

ofcourse, that player is black, and as far as i know it doesn't let you change his look

american video games are plagued with blacks
most of the high profile video games in europe or america have a black main character or a female, or other non white, and female characters are shown in a feminist way
these days asian video game companies don't even bother bringing some of their games to the west because they know that they are going to get insulted by feminists or non whites because their game dont have feminist characters and non white characters

also, 1 or 2 years ago this series of games was the first to introduce female players and female teams

i don't really like to (admit to) be playing video games. fifa has always been an easy, guilty pleasure. in their past iterations, i think that "career" iteration was available and definitely letting you comb your hair down to the level of your character's desired level of detail, skin tone as well.

i always played the other 'career' manager mode where you started up from a low league as 'manager' and won all the games until better teams hired you. then i could cut all the swampies and establish my proper League 2 league, then go up at a very-near 100% rate, acquiring players from my own personal fandom on the way as they become eligible.

The thing that sucks is that the player-generator engine is too accurate! I was always forced to scout in Australia, New Zealand, and Scandinavia in hopes of my next star definitely being White! Imagine my frustration when I promote some prodigy to the first team named Ulleif and he looks like Martin Olafsson!!!

yes career mode is not the correct word, it's the first story mode ever not the first career mode
you are forced to play as this black young player in this mode, you cannot change his skin or face

I actually like to play FIFA games as well. Reading forums, a lot of people are mad at EA for adding this in; they're (and I am) are hoping that they'll add to and fix issues with the current career mode. Also, they posed the question: "What if I don't want to play as this guy?"

people were also kind of mad about the feminine teams being added
in video games, the changes are actually not accepted by the people and are forced on the players

i play FIFA when i visit friends, it's a very good game to play with friends

but i used to play PES/winning eleven, especially the 4 and the 5th one,i played it all the time with friends back then, now i play FIFA because i have to, because FIFA is a lot more popular than PES/winning eleven so everybody plays it

These EA Sports games usually don't improve much each season. However, their budget and staff surely increase each year. So if you're pressed for radical change as an executive, it seems right that you would promote minorities as your character protagonists.

I'm pretty sure I had FIFA 16 before my power box broke, and I don't remember ever even seeing the femmes despite their landmark presence. lol put a tranny team in for social justice, doubt anyone will notice save from the ad campaign

That's interesting that they don't let you choose race. The "career" mode has been a staple of the Madden games for awhile, but you can change the race and look of the character however you wish. You have to keep in mind that if you choose to be a cracka you will not be as athletic as if you choose to be black. Really. You can create two totally identical players, one black and one white, and the white guy will be slower, weaker, and not as quick.

Do the affeletes come with hands of stone, fumblitis and the ability to "self tackle". Also, are the blacks prone to excess celebrating, late hits, trash talking and other team penalizing infractions? I mean, I'm sure they have excess hip swivel but do the players get the bad stereotypes or just the good ones?

Madden blacks are all model citizens with velcro hands and stunning coordination. Crackas are better suited to be offensive linemen and occasional tight ends.

if i recall correctly the first sports game to introduce a similar concept was a NBA 2K game, where the player could fllow the life of a new NBA player
i think it was possible to change the appearance of that player but people were angry because the voice couldn't get changed, the player had to have a ghetto black voice
