This is a true crossroads fight. If Dimitrenko is going to do anything on the world scene he needs to win this fight and looks spectacular. This could be a good scrap as the Pole is always coming forward as he is usually the smaller heavyweight.

The fight between European heavyweight champion Alexander Dimitrenko
and Albert Sosnowski on Saturday night at the Sport und Kongresshalle
in Schwerin, Germany was shockingly cancelled just before fight time
after Dimitrenko feinted in his dressing room. More to come.




That should be *fainted*.

Anyway, not good. What could be wrong with him?

the 9th was a good round for Sasha as he looked to have gained a second wind and nailed the Sosnowski with good shot late in the round.

Dimitrenko is very tired and is needing to hold a lot, Sosnowski appears to still be fresh.

A sudden ko. Sosnowski was charging in and was ko'd suddenly with a hook inside. He had all the momentum at this point and Dimetrenko was really just holding on.

Dimitrenko needs to hire a new strength and condition coach for him to go anywhere from here. He should be coming into fights around 245/248 lbs range. I have said it before, when a fighter has talent at this level, it is imperative that they enter the ring at a elite level of conditioning as well. Alot of fighters surprisely don't see this important fact. Look at the K Bros. always fit and always gas in the tank in the 10 thrue 12 rds.

Wow! A surprising ending, I will look on Youtube to catch the entire fight. The stream was 0 for me. It seems Dimitrenko pulled a Andy Lee and kept his career afloat with the late round stoppage. Congrats

Their promotional company is near bankrupt? I know they took a bit hit when the Klitschkos let their contracts expire and started K2. Many top promoters ride a hot fighter and when he leaves or retires the promotional company disbands or scales back. Edited by: white is right
