Congrats to Abby Steiner. She is now the fastest women in the history of the NCAA Womens 200 meters ever! Yes no college woman has ever done what she did today!

To top of all of that Abby Steiner now has the number 1 fastest 200 meter time in the world. Steiner also is has the 6th fastest 100 meter time in the world! Next stop is the US Champs to qualify for the World Champs next month.

Abby Steiner is the number 1 sprinter in the world!!! :campeon:

Not winning the 100 may have worked in her favor. It pissed her off, brought out her competitive spirit, and she really bit down hard on the 200. She is more of a 200 specialist anyways.

I have no doubt in my mind if she had a normal start she would have been the double national champion in both the 100 & 200 meters. She was closing on everyone like a freight train but just ran out of real esate. This
lady is gonna go above and beyond even what Dafne Schippers did. She is only a junior in college. Will she turn pro or come back for her senior year at Kentucky? We shall see what happens. So much talent! Just amazing!

21.8 is an instant medal contender, I just hope that the IAAF gets the whole Mobomba situation sorted out. S(h)e will rob a competitor of a medal and even a final appearance in Eugene and could down the road if the IAAF doesn't have a ruling with science not politics in mind.

To make this NCAA All Time 200 Womens Record even more special she did it on a wet track and it was a little cold. Then on top of that it was her 3rd race in a little over a 2 hour period. Abby Steiner ran the 4 x 100 Relay where Kentucky
took the silver medal. She then finished 3rd in the womens 100 meters finals mostly due to a poor start. Yet even with fatigued legs she went out and but the All Time NCAA Record by .018! Wow is she an incredible talent! :)

Holy ****, Abby Steiner just blew the field in the 4x400. Unbelievable, made up 25m in the 3rd leg.

That comeback by Steiner was epic. It reminds me of what Boling did in a 4 x400 relay in high school but he ran the anchor leg. Steiner looked like a woman among girls. Sensantional!

in the 4x400m Shae Anderson got the stick last on the second leg and moved up 3 spots..well done Shae!

Like I have mentioned before Steiner could well be a world class 400m sprinter....

Also she(Steiner) wasn't 20m back when she got the baton she was closer to 30m back!

Wow that was absolutely phenomenal! Abby really has something very special. That top end speed is something else. Hope to see her lining up in the world champs in oregon this summer.

Not a problem my good friend. I'm just so happy when more people occasionally post in the track message board. I have loved watching the sport since I was a little kid and I used to love to run myself in my younger days.

Yes Abby Steiner is a special talent. I really believe she should have doubled yesterday but at least she placed in the 100 taking 3rd with a horrible start. Boling needs to learn how to relax all the time like Steiner does. It would
be great if he had her speed endurance next year too. Yesterday she ran 4 races and looked like she could have run even more. Amazing lady on and off the track. I have the highest admiration for her talent & ability!

Why would you care? As you say no one cares about the 200 meters and she lost the 100. It's only the 100 people want to watch.

Just making my point that you have a double standard. It's all good though. She is a great talent over the 100 & 200 meters and she has a chance to make the individual team for both if she can hold her form. That's a big if as it's been a long season
for her both indoors and outdoors. Abby has handled it very well though and still has her legs under her. Hopefully she can keep it up for another month or two. Maybe she can just skip indoors next year. It's all about Eugene and the World Champs!

yes, this woman is the real deal. But it's not just the sheer speed, it's the headspace that's driving the feet - as tough as nails and determined to succeed.
My new number one. Cannot wait to see her at Oregon

Wow! This is terrific. I know you all talk about staying relaxed. Looks like she has conquered that aspect.

Nope. She had a bad start in the 100. Starts can be improved. Her top speed is similar to fahnbulleh, lemaitre, bolt: truly phenomenal. That is what matters.

Yeah and it's not just the older generation. So many of the young guys today are worse. I see it on the comments of youtube videos and in real life. Sad but thank God not
all people are like that. They are just very tribal and support their own like no other. Hispanics are similar and that's another reason they love soccer and boxing. Whites
need to learn how to protect and support each other as we are gonna be the minority everywhere in the coming decades as all the white nations are being overrun with certain
people to change the demographics. They are not doing this to any asian country or even to the hispanic countries. Only the white countries are not allowed to keep their culture.

Ok back to track. Yes Abby Steiner has been incredible at these NCAA Championships. I would give the female mvp to her and it's not even close with what she did in all 4 races.
