2026 White Purge

Every year with the White Purge we all feel like Whoville when the Grinch stole Christmas.

So many of our guys deserve better as many of them looked great! The decision is rarely made based on performance as we have
seen for many decades now!

Looks like berrios is set to return to the giants active roster and was cut for roster loophole reasons.
 
Well some good news is our two fringe corners Jayden Price and Ethan Bonner made the final roster. That’s 4 active corners, that’s gotta be the most in many decades

This was the most disappointing thing for me. Out of the 10 non-lock RBs I was tracking, I really thought about half would make it. Connors and either Jones / Steele / Castle seemed to have some good momentum late in the preseason. Should have know better, but I am holding out hope that maybe one gets waivered to a roster and the others go to PS where later opportunities present.

The Cash Jones situation bears watching. Atlanta elected to only go with 2 RBs on the roster. So perhaps Jones gets signed back after some roster shuffling. He could also go to the PS squad and be one of those game day call-ups.
 
DB Dan Jackson, Lions: Reportedly, this ex-7th round pick was in line for the #3 safety job as a rookie in 2025, after a stellar pre-season. But was placed on I.R. with an injury that was likely not "season ending" (similar to Lan Larison). Lions thought 2025 would be a valuable "redshirt' year. I guess not, could not make the 53, even with a ton of injuries at safeties.

DL Tyler Batty, Minnesota: Placed on I.R. Already 27 years old (Mormon), just 2nd season. Likely done for good?

LB: Lander Barton: Chargers only White defensive player, they are down to 0. No surprise, James Rockford wannabe gets his all-black "D"

WR; Trenton Irwin: 49ers. Former child-actor, born in 1995, has probably reached the end of the line. Made roughly $4.3 million for only 44 games (over 7 plus years). Not terrible; played in a Super Bowl. Now he can go back to doing Velveeta ads. <2010 ad. link

LB: Devin Veresuk: Wrote about him in Colts thread. 25' CFL rookie of the year <link. Foolishly jumped to the NFL way too soon, instead of putting together a nice resume --ala Alex Singleton. Great athlete, will likely pay the price, doubt he gets another chance. Hamilton gets their local born star back? Best (only) chance to make a practice squad, is the #17 spot reserved for international players -- not sure if Canada is counted, however?

Jack Kaiser, Jaguars: 2025 pick (5th rd) who did not make an impact on defense in 2025. Former Notre Dame star will likely be finished for good; if not picked up this season? Will his ex-N.D. coach Al Golden (showers) bring him aboard as the Bengals token White on "D"? I doubt it? .... By the way, Jags cut Austin Trammell, WR...I think he's been cut like 100 times already. Only saving grace, is he's cleared the $2.3 mill mark despite all the "jerking's" he incurred!

Cowboys cut their only White defensive players Justin Barron and Langston Patterson. Odious creep Jerr-ah Jones gets his all black defensive unit :aaaaa: ..... Jeer-ah should have hired Jack Harbaugh Jr., who took the Giants job. Jack Jr. would've been in chocolate heaven in Big "D"

Black Bengals also cut their only 2 White defenders, Liam Anderson and Jack Dingle, much to the delight of their a**hole D.C Al Golden. Bengals, also, should have canned Zach T. and hired Jack Jr. or his Rockford Files loving clown brother, James!

Safeties: Nick Anderson, Parker Robertson and Silas Walters all impressed, to varying degrees, during pre-season; all cut. No surprise, as all were undrafted. These players were not cut today, they were actually cut draft weekend. Or prior to that, Combine snubs and All-Star snubs. Anderson is a particularly egregious snub.

Wide Receviers: Garrett Greene (ex-QB); Daniel Sabkowicz; Matt Tomczak; Kaden Davis... list can go on and on :afro:

If we are going good news department, the initial returns on the Miami Dolphins are surprisingly good. At the moment, they have 18 White athletes on the roster after having a league low 10 last year. WR Ryan Miller, who just signed last week after getting cut by the Giants is a surprise. LB Jackson Woodard was another guy I didn't expect but he had a great preseason and earned a backup ILB spot. Of course they have 2 White safeties and a cornerback, so they will be a team to keep an eye on this year.

Good info on alot of guys who got screwed over today.

One minor correction. The black Bengals will have a lone honkey on defense in the name of LB Swayze Bozeman. He'll serve as a backup of course. As an aside, I hate that many NFL teams now play a 4-2-5 base defense. The Bengals for example only roster 4 linebackers and 11 defensive backs. This is automatically going to limit the number of Whites on defense and in the NFL as we have more linebacker talents.

Seahawks cut S Maxen Hook and DE Aiden Hubbard, who I expect to return in practice squad. FB Brock Lampe was waived with injury but I believe he was just a camp body while Outz was out, clearly they weren’t going to keep 3 fullbacks, they’re already the only team that keeps two active to begin with I believe
 
The positive news of the night is there are some pretty white linebacker units, at least that I noticed. Especially positional to how they’ve been drafted.

As Freethinker noted the 4-2-5 base is gonna limit a lot unfortunately…at least some teams are keeping four QBs
 
Thanks for the correction FT, Bozeman's 3 career solo tackles leads me to believe he'll be relegated to special teams coverage. If injuries ever ravaged the Black Bengals LB unit, I guess they'd find a "real athlete" off the street to start, before inserting Bozeman.

Perhaps they can bring back career Bengal Reggie Williams, at the age 72, (<photo) for a 15th season? I think the Chargers have a White Fullback that also plays some DT. Either way, neither team is on my must watch list.

Not putting Bozeman down, just saying how odious Al Golden is -- hell never give Swayze a shot. Could see this White purge coming a mile away, once Golden was hired as D.C. If Bozeman is, in fact, relegated to special teams coverage, I wonder if Golden (showers) will try to claim his ex-N.D. star linebacker, Jack Kaiser, off waivers?

Also, good news for 49ers fans. The scrub CB that likely cost them a Super Bowl was cut today. 49ers had kept the Chiefs and their "quarterback" out of the end zone for nearly 3 entire quarters, until this spatially unaware dingus screwed everything up;

Jimmy Rolder of the Lions is White.

Another team worth noting is New Orleans, whose top three ILB are White -- Kaden Elliss, Pete Werner and Danny Stutsman.

On the Rams, two of the top three ILB are White -- Nate Landman and Shaun Dolac.

Frankly every White running back should have made their respective team and been an offensive contributor. Considering the odds they all faced and the encouraged discrimination against them at all levels they came in and produced only to be written off because it's just the preseason. However, that argument fails because we see plenty of black scrubs benefit from "it's just the preseason".
 
Getting antsy for the NFL to update their transactions, I believe waivers clear at 1PM eastern, there’s some guys I’ll be looking out for to hopefully get snagged for an active roster like Carson Steele and Dean Conners
 
All the waiver claims I've seen are blacks, other than a kicker and Brady Cook going to Miami. Even Levis went unclaimed. Just more BS from this crooked league.
