Rybakina defeats Coco to set up an all Russian final on Saturday, a worst case scenario for the US Open organizers and fans. Speaking of the odious NY fans, they’ve been trash for years, completely disrespectful today with zero decorum, leaving the match seconds after it was over. Rybakina basically gave an interview to a 90% empty stadium. The NY US Open fans have to be the worst DWFs in the world, hands down. I’m so happy for her, coming back from losing the first set and quieting that crowd. She will be the new #1 player after this tournament (she also beat that lunatic Osaka in the round of 16) and it should be a good final regardless of who wins.

And what can you say about that despicable ESPN announcing crew, who must be on suicide watch tonight. You would think a bunch of people from Coco’s player box were calling this match. Too bad things look less promising on the men’s side as the US sports media is already slobbering at the upcoming all-black semifinal. It would be amazing if either Zverev or Kachanov ends up winning on the men’s side, making it a clean Russian sweep.

"Blacker than the ace of spades" Shelton who until he wins a major I will call Blake Shelton should win the semifinal as Freddie Adu isn't really as athletic as Shelton who if I didn't know who his pops was I would guess he was part Asiatic(probably Native American). Tiafoe was lucky to escape his quarterfinal as Michelsen cracked up under the pressure of making his first semifinal at a major and lost 3 straight sets after having the ability to win the match serving out...

I think Zverev has righted the ship and should sail into the final and will probably win it but he has a serious medical condition being a type 1 diabetic who has literally faded badly in matches after taking a diabetic shot so if somebody like Shelton pushes him anything is possible.

On the women's side form held and it was the first final 4 with all of the top seeds in about 50 years. Sabalenka should win but she has a history of fading when an opponent can force her to play a 3 set match that is tight she seems to implode mentally. I have a feeling when her career is done tennis historians will debate on how many more majors she should have won...

The typical fan who attends evening matches at the US Open is a top 1 percent person and are card carrying liberal democrats what else would they be like...

I remember the push the USTA made to get diversity of their grass roots player base so that American tennis would get more world class young juniors and it seemed like it was only focused on inner city blacks. Really just off pure numbers tennis needs working class to lower middle class Whites to take up the sport competitively.

As good as Pegula is you would have to think that there could be a good dozen non .0001 percent people who could be as good as her if they viewed tennis as sport that was accessible to them.
