yes, excuse our commentators over the top passion LOL. But they very good historians and analysers. Tamsyn Manou (nee Lewis') dad was a member of our 1974 team to last win Gold

you and I used to mention talk about guys way back in early 2006. I think I joined about 15 months after you. A while ago now WLThis brings back memories of the South African All White 4 x 100 Relays Squad that also won a Gold Medal at the 2001 World Championships! This was the team from 25 years ago that won gold for South Africa. All white sprinters. The time was 38.83

here mastermulti. There are about 5 to 10 of us here that help keep this track message board alive. I used to post on trackandfieldnews.com for a long time but the message board shut down. I'm very happy that we can still post here as athletics to me is the ultimate form of sport!

On August 5th the 2026 World Under 20 Championships starts. We have alot of men & women to root for. Two male sprinters I will
keep a close eye on are Marko Ferreira of South Africa and Jakob Kemminer of Germany. 19 year old Russian Sprinter Nikolay Grudkovsky has the 2nd fastest under 20 time in all of Europe but I don't believe he will be allowed to compete. It's just so unfair.
We also have the 2026 European Championships go from August 10th - August 16th. What a great summer of track & it's not over yet!

Audrey Leduc made the womens 4x100m relay very close, gaining on the anchor of Jamaica who I'd say is on the special yam diet. 3 of Jamaica's 4 athletes have braces....

you guys have more women strength in the relays than we do. 2 of ours were 11.45-11.50 runners which is notjing special. Luckily we do have good technical training. We have two young junior speedsters (Zara Hagan 11.14 and Leah O'Brien 11.17) who aren't there possibly because of world juniors coming up. It'll help immensely when they join senior ranks

Puripol Boonson is back in the sub 10 club again this year with a 9.99 +1.4 today in the Czech Republic. His pb is 9.94 set this past December. Good to see him running fast again this year. He's only 20 years old so plenty of time for him to improve. Who knows, maybe in 2028 we see an Olympic final with some diversity rather than it being all blacks. After all, they say diversity is the greatest thing since sliced bread don't they??

Simon Verherstraeten of Belgium ran a nice time of 10.12 +1.4 today for the win. A very nice time with a little over a week until the 2026 European Champs start.

yes, nice - about the pace Browning just ran to hold off the African guys today so I'd say if Verherstraeten can be consistent with this form he'll be close to the pace in the European 100.
I can't wait to see the Euros - I'll have to check for local streaming

American Cole Beck ran a sub-10 as a part-time sprinter/part-time football player before apparently giving up track completely in order to pursue a professional football career (and be COMPLETELY ignored by the anti-White football world). i wonder what he’s doing now at age 27?

I was rewatching CBC Canada's video of the mens 4x100m relay and all they could do is say how great Degrass was, Degrass got the baton in 4th place and would have got Browning in 1 more stride blah blah blah. I took a screen shot of the final exchange and Browning and Degrass had the baton in their hands at the same time...Browning flat out beat Degrass over the 100m plain and simple. I think Browning's leg was his most important race of his career even more so than his 10.01. He proved he could roll with the big boys and prevail! Well done Aussies!!
Side note: I used to train with Jerome Blake in Kelowna, he is a nice guy and worked very hard to get where he is. He has lost most of his Jamaican accent and is starting to sound like a Canuck. I still cheered for Australia though!
