2026 Track Results

Cole Hocker may just be the next great white athlete to break the world record. He came very close in this race!

Crazy how he sprinted that last lap and didn’t even look tired after he finished the race. He was barely breathing hard. The kind of condition that guy must be in is something else!

Simon Verherstraeten of Belgium ran a new p.b. today of 6.54! His personal bests outdoors are 10.06 & 20.13 wind legal. Maybe if things go
right this summer he can go sub 10 and sub 20! Only Christophe Lemaitre, Ramil Guliyev & Matthew Boling among our guys have acheived
these incredible times.

Also today, Hristo Iliev of Bulgaria ran 6.53 and in the same race, Anej Curin Prapotnik of Slovenia came in 2nd in 6.57.

At the same meet, Bozhidor Saraboyukov jumped 8.42(!) to defeat Tentoglou, 8.14.

Hristo Iliev has just delivered a historic sprint.

Clocking 6.53s in the 60m, he broke a Bulgarian national record that had stood for 48 years and became the fastest man in the country’s history over 60m distance.

And that’s not all. The time is also a new European U23 record, adding continental history to a truly unforgettable run.

yep. A fair few white guys have matched the 60m and 100m times over the years, but very few that 200m time. He must have very good natural speed endurance

all very good results to start 2026 - let's see it keep rolling.
Amy Hunt's new 7.04 PB is so good for a woman who struggles a bit in her start. Her confidence for the longer sprints must be at an all time high this year

In Europe we have 7 women with times in the 60 meters of sub 7.15! Five of the Seven Sprinters are 7.10 or below. It's great to see.

For the European Men we have 11 sprinters in the 6.50's so far with a few more at 6.60. Amazing times early on in a year
with no World Champs or Olympics.

The number of guys in the 6.50’s seems higher than normal. I hope the trend continues into the outdoor season. We really need someone to hit the 9.8s!

I agree however we will take sub 10's first and foremost. Remeber just 15 years ago Christophe Lemaitre was the 1st. Other guys have
followed him and many more will. I want to see at least 3 to 5 new european guys go sub 10 by 2030. I'm an optomist.

As far as the 9.80's our best hope is Lachlan Kennedy from Australia. Let's hope he has fully healed from the injuries that caused him to
miss the World Championships last year. I believe he has. Lachy says he is aiming for Patrick Johnsons 100 Meter Record of 9.93. I'm
pretty sure he gets it in the right conditions and he just may hit the high 9.8's in the process of breaking the record. His start is as good
as anyone on the planet. Hope he runs a few more 200 meters races as he might get closer to 20 seconds this year!

I'm so happy for Amy Hunt. Also from today Patrizia Van Der Weken ran a incredible time of 7.01 in the 60 meters. She is ready to join
Ewa Swoboda in the Ultra Rare sub 7.00 club for 60 meters for the women sprinters! Swoboda ran a 7.09 today.

great times for Hunt and Van Der Weken. My worry for Van Der Weken is that she races too much and is burned out half way through the outdoor season. Good time for Swoboda although I still think she is too bulky she needs to slim out just a bit.

Bulgarian ... ILIEV , ran 6.52 for 60 m. in Belgrade last monday ..he is in good shape ...
Note there's a pole and a Hungarian both running mid 6.5s ...
So worlds will be interesting ....

Sub 10s ...nothing new for white sprinters ....
All it needed was one ...that was marian woronin ..who ran 9.996 ..but was round-up...go figure .....
Matt shirvington ran 10.03 into a minus 2.2 mps ... mps....at sea level equates to 9.92 ...
So it had all been done before
But of course the spin on athleticism has always been very strange when following liberal American sporting media outlets..written and otherwise ..

And what always will get me is the lack of a sponsor for high-quality white sprinters ..
John testers...devin quinn ...and more recently coby hilton ( now with Spanish/ Italian brand Joma ) ...but they dont pay much ..whereas other athletes get , nike ,adidas , puma .....
Asics , puma ..are second tier ..
Not since Jeremy mariner had there been a white american with adidas USA. ...
