Yes great place to land, Stafford to learn from and Mcvay is a very good offensive head coach. A pleasant surprise to a disappointing but expected start to the draft so far.

Bennett is a career back up type. Hopefully has a long career as a number 2 guy. One of the most entertaining preseason QBs as of late and could certainly be a spot starter.

Great example of upside vs production. Wouldn’t be a shocker to see Curry have the more successful career.
Tampa selects an edge with T-Rex arms, but all the analysts on ABC agree that arm length is irrelevant. "Just look at the tape and ignore his arm length!" Apparently short arms only disqualify White players.

Oh Lions go Blake Miller over the frequently mocked Monroe Freeling, but first white tackle off the board - I'm guessing he plays RT and they move Penei Sewell to left, a good pick by a good organisation.

Lions consistently drafting White players
Vikings headed in the wrong direction
Good pick by the Lions but the Vikings didn't replace a great White safety with his heir apparent. The sumo DT they took looks like a loser to me, Field Yates using euphemisms about his lack of consistent effort and that he's injury prone.

Started with them bringing in the manlet and all but anointing him starter. Certainly a team to root against as long as Murray is their starting QB.

That's all right, I don't think the Steelers organization and their DWFs can deal with a White safety. Scott Shields was a second round pick in '99 and was quickly run out of town, as was discussed in the Patrick Jeffers thread. Let them have another bust tackle to join the other two they've taken in the first round in recent years.
