2026 NFL Draft

Senior Bowl names QB Garrett Nussmeier MVP. Overall he seemed to have a good week and improved each day. Had best command of the huddle during practices and it translated over to the game. He's still recovering from the injury that hampered him all season but I would say this is a positive development and his stock should be on the way up. The second best QB was NDSU's Cole Payton who started off the week with some big plays and stayed consistent throughout the week. He is a big athletic QB and mobile. Any write up I saw on him all tried to attack his throwing motion and being a left handed QB - even read one report in which the draft "expert" stated his disdain for left handed QBs. The draft media tried hyping the Arkansas black quarterback's draft stock after day 1. However, as the practices went on they all went silent as he underwhelmed and did not offer them enough to make him the black savior of the QB position this year. With that said we have seen black QBs get drafted much higher than they should and after seeing Ewers, Howard and Leonard all drop to end of Day 3 last year I have very little faith in the NFL's overall evaluation across all teams of the QB position. I think Illinois QB Luke Altmeyer rounds out the top 3 performers of the week and hopefully he has done enough to warrant getting drafted. Sawyer Robertson was probably my biggest disappointment, I just thought he would be able to do more. Not all of that is his fault but not sure he moved the needle much.

The troubling trend of pushing all White OL to the interior especially the center position moves on as the caste system seems hellbent on not letting Whites play anything but center. That's my impression from these past several years of observing the trend. Rutledge, Zuhn, Stephens and Lemiuex all took center reps despite none of them playing the position in college. On top of that the actual center prospects showed up and performed very well. Why are teams so intent on dumping all the White athletes to center? I also found some really gay caste speak gibberish around Zuhn, if I can track it down I will post it. It's almost the same level as "muscleshark" for those who have been around the site long enough to remember that gay term. Overall it seems that all the White OL invited performed - the Iowa duo of Stephens and Dunker should hopefully get picked up on day 2 with Dunker at this point being a late round 1 possibility.

Found the caste gibberish on Zuhn - an SEC LT trying to be pushed to center: Trey Zuhn III was competent on the first day of practices, and in particular, he set himself apart by showing the versatility to play from tackle to center. At tackle, he was beaten by a power rush in team drills when he failed to set his anchor in time, but he’s unnaturally flexible when acquiring leverage at center, and could have a future home at the fulcrum.

So Zuhn can magically gain leverage at center that he could not use at tackle. The use of fulcrum instead of center is also gay and retarded. perhaps I'm unhinged but I hate these "experts" trying to sound intelligent.

Nothing at WR and RB in the Senior Bowl. Plenty of White TEs though that flashed. This year is very deep at TE. It seems like the kid from A&M did very well along with Koziol. Could be a nice haul of White TEs into the league this year.

On defense their really wasn't very much. Oregon LB Bryce Boetthcher and Oklahoma LB Owen Heinicke both received alot of positive press over the week. Jacob Rodriguez (I am on the fence with him) was the best LB of the week. Between the Shrine and Senior Bowl there seems to be some real talent at the position but as we always a see any position with alot of White athletes is somehow a very deep position and the White athletes get downgraded and devalued.
