2026 NFL Draft

Steelers draft another White. Surprising guy not on our radar, and a defensive tackle at that!

Bears with another great pick. Steal of the draft van der Berg.

Caden Curry to the Colts! I’d have to check but they are having a good draft building on an already White friendly roster.

Mel Kiper just said Curry's short arms prevented him from being a second round pick, yet the first two days a bunch of short-armed blacks were taken, with the analysts saying every time that their short arms were completely irrelevant.

Curry's race undoubtedly played a much larger factor than his arm length.

Right on target. The 15th overall pick had the same arm length as Curry. Curry was more productive than Bain yet Bain was magically a first rounder and Curry gets picked at the end of the 6th.

Bills are gunning for a 10/10 black draft.

Just like every other round it starts with a run on blacks.

No Nussmeier or Altmyer. These guys should have been taken in the 4th/5th rounds.

Reminds me of Chris Borland. Remember him?
Yes indeed! Good comparison. Wisconsin/49ers Too bad Borland's career was cut much too short @ age 25

There's so few people left that maybe I'll shoot down there for the rest of the final round and give everyone a Caste Football business card and see if I get out alive.

LOL.

How off do you think the NFL was with it's draft attendance compared to how many were really there?

Was hoping the Lions would pick up a QB in the draft. They double dipped on sumo DTs to end their draft instead.

Redskins select Rutgers QB Athan Kaliakmanis - surprised to see him go ahead of Nussmeier and Altmyer. He certainly looked improved at Rutgers when I saw him the past season.

There was only a few thousand there today, maybe 5,000. What happened to the other 315,000?

ESPN and the NFL Network hardly mentioned the numbers today, not once that I heard whereas in recent years they were constantly bragging about their made up numbers. How can you continue to claim hundreds of thousands when the disparity had become so obvious today?

It maxed out on Thursday at between 15,000 and 20,000.

I will say that the networks have done a good job of making the city look good, many different nice shots of downtown and the surrounding area.

Did you notice any surge in out of towners leading up to the draft? Pittsburgh itself is a city of around 300k when I checked it out. Seems absurd to anyone but a simpleton that a city could have double it's population just magically appear overnight.

Titans grab Jaren Kanak who profiles as a running back more than a TE. It's too bad the NFL won't allow that to happen.

Dan Morgan does something John Lynch is incapable of doing - drafted a White LB. Panthers finish with 3/7 White athletes drafted.

Jackson Kuwatch is a big athletic LB - glad to see a MAC LB get drafted.

Well, the metro area is about 2.4 million. But I posted a few days ago about how only 60% of the hotel rooms in Allegheny County had been booked, which speaks volumes. I also noted earlier how tiny the unofficial "rooting sections" were for each team. If even 100,000 had flown in from various points, those rooting sections should have been large for teams like the arch-rival Browns as Cleveland is only a two hour drive away and cities like Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Buffalo and New York are just 300 to 400 miles from the Burgh.

I didn't personally see a huge influx from out of town, though I deliberately avoided downtown because of the police state security and so much of it being made unavailable to cars.
