Falcons ignore local product Jordan Van Den Berg to get an unranked UDFA black DT instead.
Loved him as a player that’s for sure but he sucks as a GM. They probably would’ve had at least 1 championship by now if it wasn’t for the Trey Lance decision alone.I hate John Lynch.
Glad to see Ben Johnson seems to be implementing in Chicago what worked with the Lions under Dan CampbellJordan van den berg DT Georgia Tech taken by the Bears at the end of the 6th
Mel Kiper just said Curry's short arms prevented him from being a second round pick, yet the first two days a bunch of short-armed blacks were taken, with the analysts saying every time that their short arms were completely irrelevant.
Curry's race undoubtedly played a much larger factor than his arm length.
Yes indeed! Good comparison. Wisconsin/49ers Too bad Borland's career was cut much too short @ age 25Reminds me of Chris Borland. Remember him?
There's so few people left that maybe I'll shoot down there for the rest of the final round and give everyone a Caste Football business card and see if I get out alive.
There was only a few thousand there today, maybe 5,000. What happened to the other 315,000?LOL.
How off do you think the NFL was with it's draft attendance compared to how many were really there?

ESPN and the NFL Network hardly mentioned the numbers today, not once that I heard whereas in recent years they were constantly bragging about their made up numbers. How can you continue to claim hundreds of thousands when the disparity had become so obvious today?
It maxed out on Thursday at between 15,000 and 20,000.
Well, the metro area is about 2.4 million. But I posted a few days ago about how only 60% of the hotel rooms in Allegheny County had been booked, which speaks volumes. I also noted earlier how tiny the unofficial "rooting sections" were for each team. If even 100,000 had flown in from various points, those rooting sections should have been large for teams like the arch-rival Browns as Cleveland is only a two hour drive away and cities like Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Buffalo and New York are just 300 to 400 miles from the Burgh.Did you notice any surge in out of towners leading up to the draft? Pittsburgh itself is a city of around 300k when I checked it out. Seems absurd to anyone but a simpleton that a city could have double it's population just magically appear overnight.
