Snow Plow, Griffin is for real. I can tell he has his head on straight because of the way his teammates react to him. Hope he stays that way. Bobby Witt Jr., right now, is a better fielder, but Witt and Griffin, hopefully, will be around a long time.

He’s got some of the most electric stuff I’ve ever seen. Just hope he avoids any serious arm injuries. Would be great to see another dominant pitcher like Nolan Ryan or Randy Johnson.

Kyle is now up to 360 for his career. He could realistically reach 400 this season at the age of 33. Good shot for 500 if he stays healthy.

He gets all of us pumped with his monster homeruns. Health is the key for both Kyle Schwarber and Mike Trout! Trout stared the
season off on fire but has been stuck at 11 homers for quite a while now. Hope he gets it going!

What speaks to the greatness and what could've been is the number of plate appearances Trout has compared to HOF's around him. (Not counting the pitchers as WAR is figured differently for them. Notice George Brett's number of PA. 11,625 to get to 88.7 WAR. Trout has only 7437 to reach 89.6 WAR. Carl Yaztrzemmski needed almost twice as many PA's, to reach 96.5 WAR! 13,992.
Pete Rose needed 15,890 to reach 79.6 WAR!
Being relatively conservative, I would say if Trout had not missed the equivalent of 3.5 seasons, he would've mostly likely already passed the likes of number 21. Mickey Mantle, 110 WAR, 19. Rickey Henderson, 111.2, and 18. Lou Gehrig, 113.7 with 4- 5 seasons left to catch Williams, Musial, and maybe Cobb.
Unfortunately, we'll never know. Still for me, Trout is the greatest MLB player I've ever seen...or at, least for 6-8 year span.

I found the first paragraph the most damning about the state of baseball. Lowest batting average since 1968 and lowest home runs per game since 2015.
Baseball “purists” should be using this to push back on the analytics crowd which has subverted and taken over baseball making it a much different game than it was. It’s also interesting that 5/7 are blacktino or black. Perhaps the third world takeover of baseball isn’t actually allowing the best players into the game.

But walks are way up, thanks to the new ABS. Hitters being more selective thanks to the tighter strike zones, but not translating to hits when they do swing. So overall the game becomes more boring, and likely slightly longer again with the walks.
