Since 2024 the Owls have started 5 and 1 White athlete. In 2026 they are projected to start 2.

Players to look out for QB Landon Varnes, WR Erik Ronning (Sophomore), TE Reed Jesiolowski, OC Chase Stevens (Soph/Ex-Florida Gator)

One wonders why programs like this even exist. They won't compete for anything meaningful, so my conclusion is they serve as a state sponsored (in this case Georgia) welfare program to get more blacks into college, and give them gibs, in a poorly concocted attempt to keep them out of prison.
 
Yeah how does a program like this even get into the FBS when the Stadium only holds 11,000 ??

Would like to see them face FBS newby's like North Dakota State or Sacramento State for curiosity's sake

By beating up on a bunch of lousy, predominately black, teams in their conference and region. I was looking up Merrimack (a 2025 opponent) a few days ago, situated in a small Bay State town, and even they are surprisingly very black. That's been known as a hockey school forever, but football.....I never figured their roster would look like Ole Miss:afro:


I watched the Owls play once last season --- W.M.U. in their Bowl game. Broncos had like 3 White DB's starting and a bunch of other White starters on defense and they throttled Kenn by 35!


There's your answer, they beat up on similarly black teams :afro:
