2026 Houston Texans

Houston has been one of the most odious Caste Teams for about a decade, but particularly so the last 4-5 years. Before and during the draft, I theorized the the NFL didn't like when team are not only "too White" but also "too noticeably black for too long". My theory seemed to pan out as many of the absolute blackest team's seemed to draft or sign a couple of extra honkeys. Don't want the majority White fanbase to notice or start complaining now do we? Well most of the DWFs are too cucked or deracinated to notice or care. However, I do believe that NFL might care as they like to carefully curate their billion dollar corporation that doubles as a social program to elevate blacks at the expense of Whites. Well anyway, Houston is one of those coal black teams that magically ticked up this year. Let's see by how much.

The Texans bump up to a more "normal range" by taking a huge leap within the constrains of the CS. I still prefer the Colts in the AFC South, or even the Jaguars, but if the Texans are going to be a good team again at least they have more Whites to cheer.

Davis Mills returns as one of the better backups in the league. Mills went 3-0 last year and you could argue had a better command of the offense than CJ Stroud. Stroud, after his great rookie year and 2 lousy seasons, is probably on the "hottest seat" a former 1st round black QB could possibly be on after his playoff implosion. In an attempt to reverse this trend, the Texans have sought to improve their annually poor (and very dark) offensive line. You could take this as an admission of failure of the sumo strategy as they triple the number of White lineman this year. Braden Smith was a big free agent signing from the Colts, but he's unfortunately out 4-6 weeks. He'll hopefully lock down a tackle spot once back. Then the team invested their first round pick on Keylan Rutledge out of Georgia Tech. Early reports say he's been the best lineman all summer and will slide from center to LG. Evan Brown is a vet who sends last year's starter Jake Andrews to the bench.

TE Dalton Schultz is a tier below the elites at his position but still very good. In 2025, Schultz played all 17 games and set career highs with 82 receptions and 106 targets, finishing with 777 yards and 3 touchdowns. His 82 catches ranked tied for 14th among NFL players, while his 777 yards were tied for 37th overall. The Texans are tripling down on the position by bringing over Foster Moreau as a FA, drafting Michigan's Marlin Klein and keeping Cade Stover. I wonder if they plan to use more double TE formations.

On defense, this is where the Texans really surprised. First they signed Reed Blankenship to a nice 3 year deal to improve an already great defense. I'd expect his usual 80+ tackles but more opportunity for interceptions this year. The Texans 2 starting linebackers are a fella with a Muslim name and a guy with 2 apostrophes in his last name that I couldn't pronounce for a Texas-sized cash prize. However, the good news is that the remaining 4 depth pieces are our guys. 4th round pick out of Clemson Wade Woodaz is getting alot of buzz as a breakout candidate. The former safety turned linebacker is an athletic stud who showed what he can do with a long pick-6 in the preseason. Aiden Fisher was a key piece of Indiana's championship squad and frankly a steal for Houston in the 7th round. I don't expect much from him this year but could be a good player in the coming years. Hummel and Hansen are talented, but seen clearly as special teams guys only.

The practice squad is as black as a Texas oil field but it does have one interesting name. WR Daniel Sobkowicz was a FCS star and someone who the organization is reportedly high on developing. He's buried depth-wise but the PS is a good spot for him to grow and hopefully make his mark eventually (next year I reckon).

Excellent point, dating back to April when you first posted it in the Draft thread. Houston and Chicago are the teams that come to mind the most this season. A few years ago Denver went through this, when Sean Payton came aboard, so sometimes a new coach or GM (or both) can make an appreciable difference. This is, of course, was not the case with Houston. Seattle went through this, somewhat, in 2025, but much of that could be attributed to finally ridding themselves of Whigger Pete.

My theory was these teams needed whites on their practice squads so they could load them (along with the punter, kicker, long snapper, #3 TE, a few blonde cheerleaders and the team mascot) into a huge mini-van when they need to go into the suburbs to greet some soccer moms in an attempt to sell more tickets (or team gear) to their retarded DWF husbands or whigger sons -- sort of a way to put a white face on their almost totally black product?

Thanks for the input gentlemen. Thrashen, "reverse-tokenism" is an excellent term. I think even the most anti-white coaches, owners and GM's know that they can't field teams that look like Grambling and Alcorn State. So completely deranged caste-whores find a way to, at least, load up a caravan of white players they can send out.....

Freethinker, our theories do differ a bit, my "Caravan Theory" was mostly thinking about teams loading up practice squads with Whites, so they can send them around, including into the affluent suburbs, to increase interest among Whites that are potential fans, but not hardcore DWF's.

Also, when you mentioned Houston and Chicago, they actually brought in some high impact Whites -- not just practice squad long shots. Our theories differ a bit, but fundamental part remains: Teams (or the league) fear NFL franchises can become too black.


P.S. You were pondering the plight of ex-Georgia safety Daniel Jackson in the Detroit Lions thread? It was reported he was "trying out" for the Texans this week. My guess is these mid-week try-out types are hoping for mere practice squad spots. But for Jackson, that would at least be step forward? I would assume he'll be "trying-out" with several teams in the coming weeks? Saw something possibly troubling in Jackson's bio: He was born Y2K. So he'll soon turn 26. Not ideal for a player that has never played a NFL game. Then you add that to him being White? Too bad, he had a fine career at Georgia and absolutely shinned at the Senior Bowl!
