Since 2005 FSU has started 6, 6, 4, 6, 6, 4, 4, 3, 2, 2, 2, 3, 5, 3, 1, 0, 2, 1, 1 and 4 white athletes. In 2026 they are projected to start 1.
Mike Norvell returns for a 7th season. His record at FSU is 38-33 so the correlation between his coal black rosters and dominant success does not exist. He is a dogmatic believer in the caste system and has been no friend to White QBs either. He is on his third transfer magical athlete QB in as many years (make that two this season). This time it's doofy looking Ashton Daniels who has been mediocre in his previous stints at both Stanford and Auburn. Former Lafayette QB Dean DeNobile transfers in but will probably get no playing time and Redshirt Freshman 4 star QB Kevin Sperry seems the likely backup that will hopefully get a chance or get the hell out of Tallahassee after this season. They have a few LBs that might get playing time this year and could end up starting a few games but FSU maintains it's anti-White consistency for over two decades.
