Over the years Auburn ranked among the least White Defenses in the SEC ; and that's saying a lot! So pleasantly surprised when they signed 2 new White Defenders.

Was impressed watching D-Lineman Cody Sigler at mid-major Arkansas State last season! Should be on the NFL Radar.

Too bad (Arizona/Tennessee transfer )DB Jack Luttrell had to "Medically Retire" football ; couldn't seem to shake the injury bug.

So as it stands looks like the SEC only Starts 2 White DBs this season (All SEC Bray Hubbard) & So.Carolina (been forever since starting a White DB) Strong Safety David BUCEY...had hoped Luttrell might make it 3

Seems the 5 White starting DBs in the SEC was an anomaly just 2 years ago

TwentyTwo, according to the draft geeks, he is on the NFL's radar. When he signed with Auburn, some of the bigger name draft types pitched him as a potential 2nd or 3rd round surprise pick.

For whatever reason, they've toned down the rare hype (projecting him rd 5, or so?) they were given a fairly anonymous (ex-3 year DII walk-on) White defensive tackle. Hopefully on the Auburn stage, he'll no longer be "anonymous". The new official "group compliant", among self-appointed draft guru's, is he's too short. Sigler, by the way, is listed being the same size as Aaron Donald (who was drafted top 15 overall), but????

Perhaps Cody is the new Kyle Williams? Dropped to round 5 because he was "too short", then made 6 Pro Bowls with the Buffalo Bills. 6 Pro Bowls? Had he done that for Dallas, he'd be a lock for the Hall of Fame!

Back to Cody, he's been getting a lot of press the last few days, almost all very positive. Pro Football Focus gives him a huge rating! Also, he's very self confident and seemingly does not want to be stereotyped (2nd link)?
