Since 2006 the Broncos have had 12,10,9,12,8,6,8,10,10, 10, 9, 10, 7, 9, 8, 9 and 11 white starters. In 2025 they are projected to start 8.

As of this writing the QB job seems to be up in the air. The most noteable name for the Broncos offense will be Michigan transfer Cole Cabana who got the standard treatment at UM. He is currently listed as number 2 on the depth chart.

The depth of the Broncos seems to be promising. WMU currently projects an all White back up OL, the aforementioned RB Cole Cabana, LB Derek Pennington, DL Dalton Gustwiller, LB Maddux Babin, SS Micah David and FS Joey Pope.

OFFENSE
QB Broc Lowry or Brady Jones or Mason Reynolds
TE Blake Bosma
OT Adam Vandervest
LG John Hofer
RG Hunter Whitenack
RT Zach Vaughan

DEFENSE
LB James Camden
SS Tate Hallock

Not bad hoping for at least 500 all purpose yards for Cabana.

This team immediately becomes must watch if Cabana gets heavy usage or takes over the lead role eventually. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the situation.

Incoming freshman Justin Jones was given a scholarship spot with the new 105-limit after being offered as a preferred walk-on. It was his only PWO offer from any D1 team.

Jones' Howell team beat Bryce Underwood's Belleville team in Michigan's high school state championship game. Jones caught the winning TD, may have rushed for it earlier but was called down inches before the goal line, and also helped on the ensuing safety in the endzone (he played linebacker as well as running back).

High School: Named to the Detroit Free Press Dream Team ... named All-State, All-Region and All-Conference.

All that as a running back - obviously, he's playing with the linebackers in college. Let's not get too crazy!

Fun game to watch, with Howell being almost all white and Bellevue being almost all black. Feel free to skip toward the end:
