I have always liked the fact the Jacob runs with a forward lean from his hips and does not "shuffle" run. He reminds me (like it or hate it) of the Kenyans style of distance running. Very similar to Cheryiot

Canada set a new national record in the womens 4 x 100 Relay. The fastest 100 meter split was from Audrey Leduc at 10.00!

WL, I believe if Canada had not switched the one girl in and gone with the same 4 that got them into the final they would have run even faster....Leduc is a burner....

i can't believe what those Spanish did in both 4x400 and 4x100. Amazing

I was also happy to see the Polish Womens 4 x 100 Relay Squad qualify for the World Championships!

I have always noticed Poland's women sprinters are always very well muscled(ripped) except Swoboda who looks a little chuncky, yet they are always very feminine looking unlike the majority of Black female sprinters who look like men....

Kalen Walker ran his 10.06 (+1.9) from lane 1 for his first race of the year!!

Came across a vid of Trey Cunningham.

Freedom1, I saw on a YouTube video Cunningham saying he could squat 570 lbs. If he said it, I have to believe him, but his build doesn't show that kind of strength.

Trey Cunningham with a very nice bonus of 100,000 dollars for his sweep in both the 110 hurdles and the 100 meters dash!

Oh yeah, I believe him. He said they were quarter squats.

This was an interesting interview. He said he could break 10.00 in the 100, and that he has totally gotten his motivation back for hurdling. He said he overworked and burned himself out last year.

You can see Brody's race starting at 13:10 of this video:

You rock jacknyc. Thanks for posting that video. Appreciate you brother! Stupid announcers pushing for him to move to the 400. When your white they always want you to move away from the sprints. Anti White Discrimination like usual. It makes me so angry!

Yeah that is pure stupidity. He is not built like a 400m runner at all. He looks like a football player.

Will Floyd of Georgia (and Canada) wins his 400m heat at the SEC Championships with a time of 45.14.
Peyton Bair (Gaitlin's brother), a decathlete, ran 46.08, for 2nd in his heat.

He followed that up with 10.09 (2.1w) in the 100m heats.

Talk about horrible luck. The previous heat had a legal wind of 1.6! Brody Buffingtons Heat was just .001 over the legal allowed tailwind.
Damn that has to hurt. Regardless he is the 3rd fastest qualifier in the 100 Meters Mens Heats. Blazing fast times!

In Doha Amy Hunt just set a new 100m PB running 11.03 just behind the Clayton twins and almost catching one of them on the line.
Her world best under 18 200m time (still number 2 all time) showed her potential - before her trials came.
She can't start with the best but she can run most of them down - as she did severl here including Shelley Fraser-Price
I remember her running a 60m PB early this season and she was very pleased, saying "if I'm near them at 60m I know it's a whole different story as the distance increases"

Tyler Azcano won his 100m heat at the ACC Championships. His time of 10.27 was the 2nd fastest of the day.
Johnny Goode of Cal was the fastest qualifier in the 400m. His time was 45.72.
(This made me wonder whatever happened to Gavin Schurr who had left USC for Cal. Turns out that he has now left Cal for Tennessee. He's transferring more than he is racing).

Freshman Braelyn Baker of Duke, was the fastest women's 200m qualifier - 23.02.
