2025 NFL Week 5

Drake Maye was tremendous in this game. The Patriots should be 4-1 instead of 3-2 as they gave away the game against the Steelers a couple weeks ago. They had 6 White starters tonight plus Gibbens and Schooler both played some on defense. There's worse teams to root for and at least they're headed the right direction after the ultra-black squads of the previous few seasons.
The question is will Vrabel continue this trend or succum to blackness as he did in TN?

Sean McDermott should've been fired after the Bills lost in the 2021 divisional round. An unfortunate side effect of Hall of Fame QBs is that their greatness saves crappy coaches' careers.
Agreed! He clearly isn’t that guy, he reminds me a little of Mike McCarthy, who squandered prime Rodgers. Hopefully the Bills either win the Super Bowl this year or they fire him

Week 5 and no undefeated teams remain. The '72 Dolphins are drinking champagne.

The hapless Jets are now the only winless team. Well deserved, after the way they treated Rodgers and tried to make it look like the team's failings were his fault because he was supposedly "washed up." Now that his time in Pittsburgh has proven to the world that the Jets were wrong, they're exposed as the losers and liars they are.

Be careful what you wish for. This has been Buffalo's best run of good teams in over 30 years and they've been one of the relatively White friendliest teams in the NFL. I understand the frustration that they haven't gotten over the hump, but they've come awfully close and I've enjoyed rooting for Allen and the Bills for the past half-dozen years. What comes after McDermott could be and likely will be worse, especially from a CF perspective.

BTW, McCarthy won a Super Bowl while coaching Rodgers. With 32 teams and other great QBs Rodgers has had to compete against like Brady, the Manning brothers, Favre, Roethlisberger and Brees, there's only so many titles to go around for a great quarterback, Tom Brady the obvious exception.

There will never be a team that goes 17-0. Never. Book it.

So glad the Caste Clowns with the New Jersey Jets are getting their comeuppance. They went the full-blown magical route. Well I hope they're enjoying their magical results. What's next in that scheming owner's bag of tricks? I hope it's a white flag because it's over for this franchise under his inept tutelage.

Yes sir and I say the same thing about the AZ Cardinals. Both of these teams are not worth watching and the results are the same year after year yet that upside of the magical athletes buys them fame & fortune with very little results. Think affirmative action in the nfl. You don't have to be as good but just have that hip swivel and magical smile and they pay you way more than you deserve.

Here's a brief refresher of defensive players to look out for in tonight's game, Chiefs vs. Jaguars. The Chiefs have three starters in the front 7: DE George Karlaftis, SLB Leo Chenal, and WLB Drue Tranquill. All three should see a good amount of playing time. Chenal doesn't see the field as much as the other two, but he has still been in on 53% of the Chiefs' defensive snaps this year. The only Jaguars defender who has seen significant playing time this season is FS Andrew Wingard, who has been in on 100% of the Jaguars' defensive snaps this season. SLB Dennis Gardeck is a starter at his position in the base 4-3 defense, but as with all teams in the modern NFL the Jaguars only use their base defense about 20-30% of the time. So, Gardeck doesn't see the field that much. Keep an eye out for him anyways, though.
