2025 NFL Preseason

In the late games, some additional standouts.

For TB the leading receiver was wideout Ryan Miller. 6 catches on 7 targets for 66 yards. Rookie Garrett Greene went 2 for 22 and returned punts. A PS candidate in my estimation.

The Chiefs are usually palatable. Tonight Carson Steele was the leading rusher among the many RBs on the roster. 3 carries for 15 yards isn't eye-popping but it was better than the other guys. TE Robert Tanyan was the leading receiver (3-49). Jack Cochrane and Cooper McDonald were among the leading tacklers.

The Jets, Packers, Titans and Cardinals have little to be excited about....
 
Ethan Bonner with lockdown coverage just tipped a pass and it was picked by his teammate

I think Moss and DeJean have begun to really open the doors, especially DeJean. I can’t recall the last time there were so many white cornerbacks.

Similar to running backs. The McCaffrey effect and now DeJean effect.

CMC. Shipley. Steele. Skattebo. Larison. Schrader.

Moss. DeJean. Bonner. Price.

I was just now watching this game and Cody looks terrific. Patient, decisive, quick, elusive and hard to bring down. It's the fourth quarter of a meaningless game but Schrader shows yet again that he's an NFL talent. But the question remains whether he'll ever get a chance as a pro or not.
 
Smart of him to wear black sleeves, maybe this way he won't catch too much flak and makes the team.

Schrader looked good.
 
Shedeur Sanders went 14 for 23 for a pedestrian 138 yards. He did throw two TDs, which was enough for the super snarky cuck Chris Rose to all but have a game long orgasm while announcing the Browns-Panthers game.

Both the touchdowns went to Kaden Davis, who's currently listed as second string on the Cleveland depth chart, but he's also almost 27 and his resume resembles that of Tom Kennedy, Andy Isabella and many other White WRs who never got a legit shot. As always, hope I'm wrong but this tells me pretty conclusively that Mr. Davis will never be more than training camp fodder and possible WSTD status at best.
