2025 NFL Draft

Seahawks draft a Whitey - Grey Zabel.
Thanks Don!!

It will be interesting if any team tries to "beat" this record. Three uber black teams, the Browns, Seahawks and Texans, have already made some off-season moves that signal a small uptick in the opposite direction. If I had to bet, I predict the outliers on the Whitest and blackest side of the scale mostly move back towards the middle. Gotta keep the perfectly manicured NFL demographics in their annual range and deviations from that mean could cause a few extra DWFs to ask questions....
I think I predicted this in the Bigunreal Book thread…..

Can’t have these uber black teams I guess….it must be other franchises’ turn to blacken up.

Denver on the clock, don't think there's a likely overachiever going to be taken here.

Then the Steelers and Chargers. Hoping the Steelers either take Dart or a running back but knowing them it'll be a bust if it's anyone but Dart. Chargers will likely go Black with their pick.

4.5 sacks in 3 seasons and this ******* has already made 10 mil before getting overdrafted in NFL..
Regarding this clown, one of the fake news talking heads (not sure who as I’m only listening while posting on my phone) made excuses. Saying something to the effect that lack of sacks in college doesn’t always mean much because the QBs “get the ball out so much quicker than in the NFL”. LMAO. Do DWFs really believe obvious nonsense like this?

Yea I am curious to see what the Steelers do here. Their experiment last year was a huge bust at the QB position.

Started 35 games at tackle and 7 at guard but immediately listed as a guard
Such a joke! Here is a very good article with former patriots o-line coach explaining how unimportant and overrated arm length is. He really goes into detail about proper technique and how arm length is not really that important.

Steelers pass on QB. Sanders falling out of the first round would be the highlight of the night after two years of incessant over the top hype around him.

Lol the Steelers. The last first round pick that worked out for them was T. J. Watt. Since then a series of misses. Pickett was one of them and may yet succeed, but they usually take a sumo, DT or safety or CB, and they always flop.

I don't think anything. Herbstreit called Riley a budding All Pro when describing the guy Denver took. He's entrenched as a starter.
Most teams start 3 corners now so I think Denver saw the opportunity to shore up their 3rd best guy. Doubling down on defense, since the top TEs were off the board which I think they would have taken.

I still maintain Pickett got a raw deal in Pittsburgh. He certainly has things to work on but they really never gave him a chance with the playcalling under Matt Canada. Pickens was a headcase, Diontae Johnson dropped so many passes, Najee Harris is a plodding RB. Won't derail the thread any further but I hope he gets a real shot in Cleveland.
