2025 NFL Draft

THANKS for all of the Pro Day updates!

As stated in the NFL Demographics thread Year-by-Year....since 2000
On average only 3 White WR's are Drafted .....but in 2010 an anomaly happened "" 7"" SEVEN were taken.

So the optimist in me wants to think just MAYBE this should be that "Break out" Year where "7" White DBs are taken.....(or even 5 like the 2018 WRs)
>>>>There has NEVER been more than 4 White DBs taken (since 2000) ; so should not get hopes up to really expect that...only 2 White DBs were invited to Indy.

Is the NFL really a "Copy Cat" league? The only team in the NFL 2024 to Start" 2 White DBs where the EAGLES who just happen to Win the Super Bowl + SEC had Starting 5 White DBs(Four former Walk-on's) most since the 1980s??
...This would indicate me there should be an "Uptick" in White DBs getting Drafted...even if it's a Run in Day 3

Hunter Wohler (Wisconsin)...1st White Safety taken?

Maxen Hook (Toledo).....Day 3 pick??

Dan Jackson (Georgia) Former Walk on been an Under Dawg his entire career! Hes gonna make an NFL 53 Man Roster regardless if he is Drafted

Justin Barron (Syracuse).....6'-4" 225 Safety turned LBer

Will Brooks (Tennessee)....more than just a Practice Squad candidate?

James Howell (Colorado St)....Dad played in the NFL; so can he!

Henry Blackburn (Colorado St.)...has what it takes to land himself in the NFL

Quinn Schulte (Iowa)...can't count out this heavy hitter

DB Jack Henderson (Minnesota)......will they bulk him up like former DB turned LB Dru Tranquil ?
If his name were Jacquez he may have had a better chance to be Invited to the Indy Combine
Former FCS played less than 35 miles from my house

Tanner Volk (Central Washington) ....Mr Irrelevant candidate turned Starter? Let em hang around on Practice Squad; then might just surprise! ONLY ONE CWU player has ever been Drafted.

Luke Gifford (Nebraska).....brother plays in the NFL ; so can he!

Wyatt Ekeler (Wyoming) .....1/2 brother plays in the NFL

CB Hudson Clark (Arkansas)...former Walk on have to make noise as a UDFA

...they should at least ALL be in Summer Camps

#REMINDER# Eagles starting DB Reed Blankenship was Not Drafted despite leading Safties in Tackles in the Nation!
Only 4 White DBs have been Drafted since 2018

Agree with @Freethinker - great summary of this year's DB situation @TwentyTwo . So many of these guys are being treated as after thoughts or not even given the time of day from the insular circle jerk that is the community of draft "experts".

QB Jaxon Dart held his pro day yesterday and by all accounts threw the ball very well. An SEC QB, with great athletic ability, an NFL caliber arm and 28 wins at Ole Miss. He was also a highly touted recruit that actually lived up to his billing yet the "experts" are all trying their best to slander him. The newest narrative is that the Ole Miss offense does not translate to the NFL. I watched enough of Dart at Ole Miss to see the same concepts and formations that are run at the NFL level and that no NFL QB out of the Ole Miss offense run by Kiffin has been successful in the NFL. Bear in mind Matt Corral was a 3rd round pick in 2022, Kiffin's only other QB in his stint as coach. Don't get me wrong Kiffin is a caste cuck but to judge Dart based on one other QB from Ole Miss is absurd and grasping for straws by the anti-White QB media.

On the topic of QBs, the nepo baby Sheddar will be holding a pro day which is being propped up by the media. This pro day is being held after all other pro days wrap up. Keep in mind that Sanders did not throw at the Shrine game, Combine or the Big 12 combine pro day workout. A real showcase of ego if you ask me and more of a reason to root against an arrogant, overrated player. The league obviously buys into this though as it's not about talent, wins or losses but media exposure and money.
