Vrabel gets another shot coaching again with his former team. Fwiw even though he wasn’t really White friendly at Tennessee I thought it a bonehead move to fire him. Replaces Mayo, lol.

Anyways they have signed an overachiever at Center. 2yr/12mil for Bradbury is a good bargain.

Also signed G Wes Schweitzer who should compete for a starting Guard spot.

Along with LB Robert Spillane, offers some intrigue.

Calls him smallish for a centre at a listed weight of 300lbs, Minnesota replaced him with a guy who is 1" taller and 7lbs heavier lol ....not much difference in my books.

Another good signing by the Patriots, with Gibbens joining Spillane in the linebacker room. Even if Gibbens doesn't start, the Pats are now up to five White starters. Maybe Vrabel remembers how things were back when he was a star for New England, but I wouldn't count on that just yet. Baby steps. . . .

Patriots signed LB Jack Gibbens, formerly of the Titans, to a one-year contract. Gibbens was a RFA this spring but the Titans chose not to tender him. He now reunites with Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel, Tennessee’s boss for two of Gibbens’ three seasons as a Titan. Gibbens made 13 starts in Vrabel’s final year with the team, setting career highs across the board in the process. He will play a mix of defense and special teams in New England.

The NFL is awash in money and as always Blacks are the beneficiaries. The teams are so profitable under the current model that to them these contracts are like giving away Monopoly money. $69 million for a washed up prima donna receiver who couldn't get along with Josh Allen even as Josh went overboard trying to feed him:

Patriots signed WR Stefon Diggs, formerly of the Texans, to a three-year, $69 million contract. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Diggs’ contract includes $26 million guaranteed. The 31-year-old tore his ACL in Week 8 last season and may not be ready for Week 1. However, the Patriots needed a veteran wide receiver to add to a middling group that saw no wideouts over 700 receiving yards and just DeMario Douglas and Kayshon Boutte over 400 yards last season. Diggs was a Pro-Bowler and 1,000-yard receiver each season from 2020-2023 with the Bills and caught 47 passes for 497 yards and three touchdowns for the Texans in 2024. Still a top target-earner when healthy, Diggs will aid QB Drake Maye’s development while the Pats grow the offense. Fantasy managers can treat Diggs as a stash that will have fantasy WR2 upside as the season goes on.

Such a bad signing for a young promising QB.
This is one of the reasons why I really hope the Steelers don't draft Jaxson Dart or Will Howard. Those guys would be walking into a proverbial minefield with headcases Metcalf and Pickens both demanding the ball. Then you have to deal with Teflon Tomlin as your HC. It's a nightmare situation for any White QB but especially a young one.

Will Campbell drafted as cornerstone left tackle at 4 overall in the draft. Other than that a very black draft.

Some promising signings coming out of undrafted free agents news with Chism WR from Easr Washington, Dippre TE Alabama and probably the best Lan Larison a highlight reel running back from the FBS with 175,000 in guarantees for signing.

Pats pulpit also reporting that the patriots hierachy are very high on Efton Chism and that they assume he will make the Roster at this point with Polk Baker Boutte all underthreat from not making the 53

Ben Wooldridge QB from Louisana has also signed - chance he makes roster if they keep 3 and Lampe fullback from Norther Illinois University - he looks good and we know that Josh McDaniels likes a fullback look at Devlin from back in the day.

Quite a bit of promise in the UDFA class unlike the draft!!

Polk and Baker drafted just last year, Boutte in '23.

Yeah pathetic drafting by both Belichick and Mayo/Wolf past two years. Belichick was always terrible at drafting so many players were udfas or roll of the dice like edelman. Amendola was free agency and Welker plucked from the Jets. Could never draft a reciever to save his life and don't have much faith in Wolf either.

We really need will campbell to be an annual pro bowler to help show how silly this arm length nonsense is. Riley moss and copper dejean have done their part so far so fingers crossed this guy is next

Joe Thomas was the best OT of the past 20 years and yet they still push the BS arm length narrative. It was not as prominent when he came out in 2008 but I do still remember it being a talking point. I do hope Campbell ends up having a Joe Thomas like career. This was probably my favorite pick of the draft as for once it seems a team is intent on protecting it's young QB.

Would of thought that fullback Lampe, tight end Dippre will make it on to the roster and WR Chism and RB Larison have a good shout. Wide reciever outside of Diggs, Hollins,Williams third rounder in this years draft and maybe Douglas it could be anyone which helps Chism and running back Larison maybe too good once he gets preseason snaps to get through waivers they may have to carry him to keep him.
