Since 2005, the Wolfpack have started 15, 12, 6, 4, 6, 11, 10, 11, 9, 5, 7, 8, 6, 8, 8, 6, 8 and 8 whites, with no writeup done in 2013. 3 last year. BIG jump to 10 this year, most in almost a decade and a half.
The Mountain West will the whitest conference this year. In fact, I think the average will actually come out to just around 50%.
Well traveled sixth year QB Chubba Purdy finally get his chance to start. FB Luke McEndoo comes over from Oklahoma State. Marcus Bellon returns as a starting receiver.
Ashton Hayes looks to be back at RB but buried on the depth chart. If he stayed at Cal he'd like be a starter now...one of my most dissapointing players. There's also a true freshman scholarship back in Joe Birnbaum.
Interestingly they have a second string white CB in Cooper Wilson a former Nebraska walk-on. Only a sophomore...keep an eye on him.
