2025 College Football Week 3

It's worth noting that both USC and Oregon did not put up the huge offensive numbers against lower tier Big Ten teams this week.

He is electric and as fast as they come. He is only 5-9 but he should get a chance at least as a returner in the NFL. Would like to see him used more at wide receiver as height doesn't matter as much when noone can cover the guy.

UMass is currently losing by more than 30 points in the third quarter. Iowa has all backups in on defense. UMass has in their backup black quarterback “with incredible arm talent,” who promptly completes a nice pass for a first down.

the problem? he goes dancing down the field celebrating like he just won the game. dude, you’re getting your ass kicked! have some class.
 
In the LSU - UF game the announcers are talking about the black Florida player that spit in the face of a (White) OL last week in the USF game. They called him very remorseful and admitted his mistake. A great microcosm of how the media covers for typical black behavior in society.

This is one of those things I picked up on in my youth. The stupid celebrating in general but also when losing a game. It's very much a black thang.

Regarding Hill, what a Texas sized pile of horsesh1t! Coming into the game, Hill had the most rushing yards on the team, and I believe the most carries. Ourlads has him as 3rd string, but no one has been hurt, so I assumed the team was using all 3 backs. Today, I guess not. When I had the game on they were even using the 4th string back in the 4th quarter with Hill accumulating no stats. And its not like the backs in front of him had great rushing games. Dickey was average and 2nd string back Williams had 12 rushes for -16 yards (he did however perform well as a receiver). I have to wonder if there was disharmony in the locker room with the brothas coming into this week? Would they be happy with a White true freshman coming in and outperforming them so easily? Maybe the coaches had to put Hill on ice....

LaNorris Sellers was stinking it up again tonight before getting knocked out of the game with a concussion. Vanderbilt and Pavia cruising 24-7 right now....
 
still no sign of Brevin Doll for the Hawkeyes … i wonder what the story is …dude has ideal size and is the fastest player on the team. perhaps an injury?

edited to add: Doll makes an appearance with a little more than 4 minutes left. announcers say he’s been dealing with injuries. hopefully he gets that sorted out so we can see what he can do.

He's in there now getting some carries. It's a shame they waited until this late in the game.

At least Hank Brown is getting some playing time. Should be the successor to Gronowski next year.
 
Lagway throws his 4th INT of the night against LSU. He was receiving plenty of hype last year during his freshman season and again this year. The Gators look to be in for a long season.
 
I've been following the Wyoming vs Utah game hoping the Cowboys could pull and upset but they are meeting heavy resistance from the Utes' White players.

3 leading receivers are White: WR Ryan Davis 10/91, TE Dallen Bentley 4/46, & TE Hunter Andrews 5/44 (with 2 rushes for 16).
DE John Henry Daley (nephew of Taysom Hill) with 6 total tackles (2 for a loss) and 2 sacks.
Safety Jackson Bennee with a 57 yard interception return.

For TCU, the Hoover to Manjack combo has been huge tonight. Hoover 300+ yards and 4 TDs and Manjack with 114 yards receiving.

Another big performance is Jake Retzlaff for Tulane against Duke. He's been too much for the Blue Devils. 245 yards passing and 112 yards rushing with 4(!!!) TDs.

One of the A&M guards tackled Donovan Hinish on the play and it wasn't called, pretty bad no call.

ND is out of the playoff hunt. CJ Carr looks like he will be a good one though. The tackling of their secondary was bad as @Carolina Speed mentioned earlier.

I don’t think Anthony Richardson ever had a game even close to that bad…

Richardson had some stinkers completion percentage wise but never a 5 INT game. It can be argued that Richardson's whole draft stock was based off the week 1 game against #7 Utah in 2022. That's it - one game in his one year as a starting QB. A year in which he went 6-6 as a starter. Absolutely insane and illogical to think that he was selected 4th overall.
 
Navy's trio of Horvath, Tecza and Heidenreich are TOUGH to stop on the ground. Against Tulsa tonight they ran for 303 yards and 4 TDs.

Very little concept of team and working together. Hence why they have accomplished so little throughout history.
 
I was checking the boxscore for Florida Atlantic WR Easton Messer, as I do since his big 15 catch performance week 1. Not a bad game. 6/64/1. However, what caught my eye was a White receiver leading his opponent Florida International, who I remembered from the write ups being one of those 1 White starter coal black squads. Sophomore WR Maguire Anderson had 5 catches for 81 yards. Despite not being listed as a starter (ourlads), he leads the team on the season in catches and yards too.
