Noticed Western Michigan “Safety” Joey Pope with an INT off Noah Kim! WMU labels him a Safety at 5’11 165. 2 INTs on the year, only a redshirt Sophomore.

nice find.

i would be interested to know more about this cat. he claims a 4.37 in the forty, so it would seem “odd” that such a short, slight, swift athlete would be pigeonholed into the safety position were it not for the Caste System.

He was wearing black under armor so it took a thorough investigation. 4.37 is blazing wonder if he really is that light at 165!

WMU ends up at 8-4 in the disappointing MAC. One of the more palatable teams at least.

UMASS, EMU and BGSU all end their seasons with losing records. UMASS being the worst team in the FBS but will continue their idiotic recruiting methods.

MAC has been a huge disappointment.. IMO They need some fresh blood from FCS to revitalize the conference.

WMUs SS Tate Hallock(6’4 230) might get some looks as an OLB at next level. Similar to Sterling Weatherford a few years back.

I’m hoping Nestor and Perich play against Wisconsin this weekend for Minnesota. Huge opportunity to pad the stats against a Freshman in Carter Smith.

Buck, I thought a more recent comparison might be Justin Barron of Syracuse, who's a freak athlete (for his size) and would seem like an ideal strong safety prospect, but is rotting away on Dallas' practice squad as a linebacker.

I know Tate originally went to Michigan State as a somewhat hyped prospect, but had to leave once a black head coach was hired. I also know Tate is the son of Ty Hallock. That might be an even better comparison (Tate to Ty). I vaguely remember Ty as a linebacker, and according to a net search, he was an All-American caliber linebacker at Michigan State, during the early 1990's. True Big Ten star!!! So he was clearly a better "prospect" than his son and still got screwed by the "system" :afro:

What I did not remember, was how Ty Hallock was jerked around in the NFL, shifted between linebacker, fullback and tight end.

Good mention, forgot about Justin Barron. Had no
Clue he was with Dallas!

Interesting about Hallock, knew he was a Legacy kid. His pops and he should be well versed on Caste System.

Great pass break up by Lutmer. Emerged as one of the best DBs in the country.
the Iowa tradition continues.

and to think, most teams in the country never play even one White defensive back (not even at corner), yet the Hawkeyes keep trotting out elite defenses with lunch pailers at all three levels.

Lutmer has been all over the field today. comparisons to Cooper DeJean have become commonplace, but you heard it from me FIRST.

what a catch by Vander Zee!!! WOW!!!

speaking of overachieving defensive backs, Jackson Bennee is having himself quite a game versus Kansas today, even if he’s playing out of position.

Nice to see Iowa hammering Nebraska in Lincoln. The Cornerhuskers are starting a DEI QB from Compton (!!!) because I guess there are no Whites in the state or neighboring states who know how to play anymore. This scholarly gentleman is 9 for 24 (LOL) passing and apparently isn’t much of a runner either (1 carry for 2 yards). The Caste agenda marches on….

All of the other Nebraska Quarterbacks are white so of course they play the unmagical freshman over all of them! Clear agenda at work.

Watching Air Force Vs Colorado State for a bit. Shame Air Force is 3-8 and won’t make a Bowl Game even with a win today against a rival.

Noticed CSU QB Darius Curry isn’t playing today after spitting at a Boise State player last week. Dat upside.

It’s too bad Liam Szarka is injured. He would of hit 1k rush yards.

Iowa end the season a very respectable 8-4. A little more from the offense this year and they could have went 10-2. Gronowski while solid did not deliver completely at the qb position. Hopefully Hank Brown will do so next year. The Hawkeyes SHOULD see Llewelyn, Hurkett, Graves, Pace and Sharar get drafted.

It's unlikely but it would be cool to see Sam Leavitt transfer to Iowa.

Kemper Hodges is getting some carries in his absence! 6 foot 245 FB turned QB! Announcers saying he was a HS QB in Florida. Ends up at Air Force playing Fullback now QB.

until Iowa addresses their problems at wide receiver, you could have Tom Brady at quarterback and the production would take a nose dive. other than their tight ends, they only play one wideout who can get separation (Vander Zee), and he was injured most of the year.

OR! they could implement Jimmy Chitwood’s strategy, give themselves a unique, marketable identity, and play to their strengths while limiting their weaknesses. of course, that would require deviating from the approved narrative, so it will never happen.

Checking the North Texas boxscore for the excellent Mestemaker to Young combo and they did not disappoint! Pleasantly surprised to see Temple with a White WR leading the way too. Colin Chase, mentioned as a starter in the Temple preview but never again in the weekly threads. Having a decent season after making the jump from FCS.

If Mestemaker and Young come with their coach (why wouldn’t they?), I’m definitely going to some OSU games next year.
