undersized Easton Messer had himself a BIG day in a loss. the slot machine hauled in 11 catches for 119 yards and a touchdown, and he added a 39-yard touchdown run. playmaker!

i don’t understand Houston’s strategy. week in, week out, they have their quarterback run the ball more often than their featured tailback. i just don’t understand.

Minnesota really missed Nestor today. the Gophers couldn’t stop the Wildcats’ passing game (2 wideouts over 100 yards) or the running game (over 125 yards rushing for their lead back).

I just tuned in to FS1. Boise State vs CSU. CSU trotting out a 5’10 freshman black QB after a 2-8 season. LOL

I walked into my neighborhood bar to pick up my dinner and saw ND was already up 28-0 in first quarter. Some friendly dwf mentions how a local walk-on kid (of course) should get some time. Dwf tells me the walk-on was first team all Inter-Ac in Pa, and I know that’s a very good pa hs league, so I ask why he could t get any d1 offers? “Too small too slow” he replies. “How big is he?” I ask. 6’1 he tells me so I say that’s pretty good lb size. I probe further- “what was his 40 if he is so slow?” He, in a weird gleefully cucked way, chuckles and says “I dunno, but he’s got white boy legs!” So pathetic but thankfully my takeout was ready so I could politely excuse myself from speaking to him any longer.

The Defense has improved tremendously. Are Tressell and Fickell turning the corner? I’ve been harsh on them, but they’re still recruiting overachievers on Defense, looks like they’ve found some young stars in Posa and Catalano.

Unfortunately for YAC, one of the younger upsider RBs just busted an 84 yarder. I hope he transfers out for his final year. Not sure what his market would look like..

Mason Reiger should be an NFL prospect. I have seen nothing about him. I could list probably 10 Big Ten White DL that should be drafted in 2026.

Great player. Only knock I have on him is his injury history. Got a rod in one of his legs. I wasn’t sure he would hold up this year, I was wrong about that!

Not sure how I missed this one, but Western Carolina sophomore WR James Tyre has 68 receptions for 832 yards and 11 TD's including 12 receptions and 218 yards in his last 3 games.
