Only two more weeks left in the regular season the it's conference championships and bowls. With only a couple of weeks left we can hopefully see several White athletes hit 1k rushing yards, 1k receiving yards, perhaps see 1 or 2 hit 4k yards passing (bowl games will probably be needed to hit that milestone) and get some more White defensive players over 100 tackles on the season.
Tuesday
Akron vs Bowling Green - Both teams have no chance at bowl eligibility. For BGSU they have LB Giedeon Lampron who is at 100 tackles for the season. This game is really emblematic of the state of the MAC to be honest.
UMASS vs Ohio - Ohio should win this one easily. UMASS is terrible.
Western Michigan vs N. Illinois - WMU is certainly a favorite to win the MAC in a down year for the conference. Broc Lowry is a very good dual threat QB. Not sure what the deal with RB Cole Cabana is. He has been MIA all season. DB Tate Hallock is also an NFL talent.
Wednesday
Miami (OH) vs Buffalo - The Redhawks well traveled NIL QB Dequan Finn quit on the team to prepare for the NFL LOL. Will root for the Redhawks against a coal Buffalo team.
Central Michigan vs Kent State - Rooting for the Golden Flashes in this one. RB Cade Wolford is always good for one explosive play a game. For CMU they have a couple of talented defensive players that are draft eligible - LB Jordan Kwiatkowski and DE Michael Heldman with 7 sacks.
Thursday
Louisiana vs Arkansas St
Friday
FSU vs NC State
Hawaii vs UNLV - Could potentially be a good game. Colandrea has played great for the Rebels and DB Jake Pope is second on the team in tackles. For Hawaii RB Landon Sims has a very outside chance at hitting 1k total yards which would be grat. He is having a career year.
Saturday
Rutgers vs Ohio St - Should be an easy one for the Buckeyes. Sayin is completing 80% of his passes this year. In case you were wondering Bo Nix owns the current record at 77.45%, Mac Jones is second at 77.36%, Colt McCoy 3rd at 76.67%, Joe Burrow 4th at 76.28%. Impressive company!
Missouri vs Oklahoma - Have to give credit to the Sooners. I honestly thought they were going to struggle down the stretch but their impressive in at Alabama last week gives them alot of momentum. Mateer has been very good, needs to get more consistent with his passing but is a dynamic playmaker. Missouri's season took a hit when the Tigers lost Pribula. Oklahoma while not White friendly at least has 3 Whites on defense that get playing time and Kanak has emerged as a good TE.
Miami vs Va Tech - Carson Beck has the Hurricanes at 8-2 and they should win on Saturday against a terrible Hokies team. The passing game is not as wide open as it was last year and Beck has not been as careful with the ball as he should. But I am going back on writing Beck off as a non-entity because of overall body of work. He has a lot to clean up but has the physical tools and experience that can translate over to the NFL.
Louisville vs SMU - Miller Moss raised some eyebrows after last week criticizing the unsportsmanlike penalties that have plagued the team stating it is a cultural thing. When you look at the composition of the Cardinals it certainly looks to be a cultural thing! SMU is a wanna be SEC team so rooting for Miller Moss in this one.
Minnesota vs Northwestern - a game of White on White crime. Should be an entertaining game with three elite White defensive backs - Nestor, Perich and Fitzgerald. Quite a few LBs and DL as well. Griffin Wilde as been a steal in the portal for the Wildcats. A throwback Big Ten game for sure.
Kansas vs Iowa St - The Cyclones have faded down the stretch but Carsen Hansen has 3 consecutive 100 yard rushing games. Hopefully he makes it 4 against the Jayhawks. With the bowl game he has a realistic shot at 1k yards.
Tulsa vs Army - Tulsa TE Brody Foley has emerged as one of the better Group of 5 TEs in the country. Looking at his bio he was placed on the All-Ohio defense in 2021 so another convert to TE from DL which is a huge caste system issue. He transferred over from Indiana prior ti this year where he never saw the field except as a WSTD. Nice to see him doing well. For Army despite not begining the season as starter, QB Cale Hellums sits at 829 rush yards and could very well reach the 1k mark. Army has a stable of skill position players in the low hundreds with rushing yards. WR Noah Short has 388 rush yards and 226 receiving yards. WR Brady Anderson has 10 catches for 306 yards, 30.6 YPC - impressive! Plenty to root for on defense for the Black Knights as well.
Charlotte vs UGA - I think Gunner Stockton has quietly emerged has one of the best QBs in the country. The Texas - UGA game overall was impressive, he took over that game. Honestly as a team UGA just dominated the second half. It was good to see Humphreys, Delp and Cash Jones both get some action as well.
Washington St vs JMU - Rooting for the Wazzu upset here.
Baylor vs Arizona - With the focus on the draft I think Sawyer Robertson is a good one. He's the leading passer in the country, has an NFL arm and fits the prototype. The Baylor defense stinks and were pathetic against the run last week. Not sure how Dave Aranda has managed to keep his job. The Bears do have a sophomore safety to keep an eye on - Jacob Redding.
Old Dominion vs Ga Southern - More Colton Joseph here. Will be watching him and curious to see if he jumps into the portal.
E. Illinois vs Alabama - Most of these SEC schools schedule cupcakes in late November. Not the best look. With that said I hope Simpson can get off to a fast start and put up some big numbers.
Mercer vs Auburn - @Carolina Speed Beau Atkinson can shock the country if he leads 9-1 Mercer against a bad Auburn team and pulls off the upset. It's a longshot but on paper looks like a realistic outcome.
UCONN vs FAU - UCONN QB Joe Fagnano managed to throw his 1st INT of the year last week. Now sits at a 25-1 TD to INT ratio. Get him to the Senior Bowl! The Veltkamp to Messer connection has heated up some over the past few weeks. Veltkamp will hit 3k passing yards and Messer could eclipse 1k receiving yards this week but it will probably happen next week against ECU.
USC vs Oregon - At least one of these teams will lose.
Syracuse vs Notre Dame - The Orange have stunk without Angeli. Notre Dame is running on all cylinders right now.
Arkansas vs Texas - The Longhorns inconsistencies showed up again in the second half against UGA last week. Livingstone needs to be brought into the passing game more and Wingo needs to be used as a 3rd or 4th option, he really killed the momentum for the Longhorns. I will remain optimistic about Manning though, I think he has improved as the year has gone on. Both Ethan Burke and Taaffe need to get their Senior Bowl and Shrine invites.
Kentucky vs Vanderbilt - Rooting for Cutter Boley to lead the upset.
Michigan St vs Iowa - Hawkeyes need to finish the season strong after giving away the past 2 games against Oregon and USC.
Duke vs UNC - Maybe Barkate will give the "genius" flashbacks of prime Welker on the Pats.
Kansas St vs Utah - The Wildcats were heavily hyped up during the preseason with their QB. The highlight of the season for me was the Wildcats QB's father and brother getting into a physical altercation in Ireland during week one while we debated if Avery Johnson was black LOL. Anyways love Utah's White defensive playmakers. I hope they hand KSU a loss. Bring back Bill Snyder!
Michigan vs Maryland - Two mediocre freshman QBs, one with retarded amounts of hype. I wish both teams could lose but at least UM is fielding a 4/5ths OL and has a few LBs on the field producing.
TCU vs Houston - TCU has sputtered down the stretch but next year should be a force in the Big 12. Hopefully for Houston Weigman has got all the INTs out of his system. Dean Connors needs a few big games to hit 1k and Koziol is one of the best TEs no one talks about.
Clemson vs Furman - Clemson's upset of Louisville was an entertaining game. Rooting for the Tigers to finish strong and see Klubnik's draft stock solidify. I wonder if Vizzina is the heir apparent. LB Wade Woodaz should also be a bit of a riser. During the broadcast last week one of the announcers brought up a Clemson defender Khalil Barnes raving about his NFL ability and a few plays later he got absolutely trucked by the Lousiville RB. Got a chuckle out of me.
UL Monroe vs Texas St - The Bobcats need to win out for bowl eligibility. WR Beau Sparks is 12 yards from a 1k season and Lincoln Pare should hit 1k rushing yards in the next 2 games. Freshman QB Brad Jackson has been a pleasant surprise considering he beat out Auburn transfer Holden Geriner and Pitt transfer Nate Yarnell.
Pitt vs Ga Tech - This should be an entertaining game. Certainly lines up as a game in which Haynes King could have a Heisman moment. He has a good shot at 1k rushing yards and 2500 passing yards and 30 total TDs if all goes well these next 2 weeks. Pitt was overwhelmed by a better Notre Dame team and Mason Heintschel looked like a freshman. Still optimistic about his future and also curious to see where Holstein lands because he has a ton of talent, just needs to focus on the mental side of the position.
Nebraska vs PSU - Rooting for PSU in this one. My guess is the QB room is going to be blown up by the new regime so Grunkemeyer needs to continue to put out good tape. LB Dom Deluca is an NFL player. I hate Rhule and what the Cornhuskers are devolving into under his watch.
New Mexico vs Air Force - Liam Szarka left last week's game with a hand injury, hopefully he is healthy and can hit 1k rush yards this week. Another service academy QB that did not begin the season as starter but took over the position from a WGA. Much like Army the Falcons have a solid stable of offensive weapons. The Falcons third leading tackler and INT leader is a White kid from Miami.
Illinois vs Wisconsin - I wish this could be a Bielema revenge game but Dickell is safe for another year.
North Texas vs Rice - Drew Mestemaker has certainly risen in national prominence. Have to wonder if his coach heads to another team if he follows suit. WR Wyatt Young has emerged as a great playmaker for the Mean Green.
BYU vs Cincinatti - My fav QB Brendan Sorsby has not been able to rise to the occasion against some of the better teams. I think he sticks around for one more year. I wish they could get Royer involved in the passing game. BYU's Chase Roberts is having his best season and should be getting a pre-draft game invite soon. Cougar LB Jack Kelly and S Tanner Wall should also be getting NFL attention.
Az St vs Colorado - Don't care about this game but interested to see if Leavitt jumps into the portal. Immediately the best QB available if he does so.
Utah St vs Fresno St - Rooting for the Pig Farmer to get Pegan to 1k yards this year.
San Jose St vs SDSU - Scudero needs to finish the season with a few big games.
