2025 College Football Week 12

So much hype given to Texas WR Wingo as an impact player. He trips over his own two feet on his first reception and then drops an easy pass from Manning to stall the drive. Hurts Manning's stats, however Arch looked great on the opening drive. Texas should have gotten to the end zone.
Manning would do well to target Livingstone a little more.
Good to see Stockton complete one to Humphreys. Cash Jones getting reps as well.

Wingo with another drop. It was a good enough throw and someone with that much hype on their name needs to make the play.

Baylor's defense is awful. The Utah QBs are not competent passers yet the rush defense for the Bears has been gashed all game.

Hilarious seeing south carolina’s “sec athletes” blow a 30-3 lead basically in only one quarter! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. Iowa has to be the most frustrating team this year, if they could just finish games, they would be in the thick of the playoff race and we would have a great representative for us in the playoffs.

Stockton to Humphrey's TD.
Then Kirby Smart might have delivered the KO punch with the successful onside kick catching Texas totally off guard. Pretty smart of Smart.

Iowa so frustrating. Gronowski has been solid but not what was expected.
Gronowski should shoulder his part of the blame, but the main issue in the impotent Iowa passing game is the fact that their wide receivers can’t get separation (or catch the ball when they do). sophomore VanderZee may change that, but he’s only been back a couple games after missing most of the season with an injury. Wetjen is explosive with the ball in his hands, but (frustratingly) he’s rarely featured.

i stand by my oft-repeated position that the Iowa coaching staff either A) can’t properly evaluate players at the wide receiver position in the recruiting process, B) don’t know how to properly utilize the talent they have at the wide receiver position on the roster, or C) a combination of both A and B.

Charlie Jones is a great example.
