Year 2 of Fickell era. Another transfer QB, in Tyler Van Dyke. Besides that still a Snow Plow, but only 2 honkeys on Defense. Though Safety Hunter Wohler is a good one.

Since 2016 Wisconsin has started 14,12,12,12, 14, 16, 12,10, and Looks like 9 this year.

OFFENSE

QB Tyler Van Dyke. *5th year And Miami Transfer. Hoping to recapture his early career mojo.

TE no friggin idea what Longo and Fickell have planned here. *Looks like they’re going with a Black Pollock in Nowakowski lol.

LT Jack Nelson RSR. 6'7 310 * Has a mean streak but needs to polish up his pass protection and dumb penalties.

LG Joe Brunner RSO. 6'5 313

C Jake Renfro RSR. 6'4 305

RG Joe Huber RSR. 6'5 311

RT Riley Mahlmann RJR. 6'8 310 *Excellent pair with Nelson.

DEFENSE
DE Ben Barten RSr. 6’6 300

FS Preston Zachman RSr. 6’1 205

SS Hunter Wohler RSR. 6'2 215 * Stud Safety. Harrison Smith with less speed?!

Key Backups: QB Braeden Locke, RB Cade Yacamelli, TE Tucker Ashcraft OLs Kevin Haywood, JP Benzschawel, Kerry Kodanko, James Durand, Barrett Nelson, and Leyton Nelson. A sad decline by one of the teams that fought back against the Caste System for as long as I have been a member of this site. I do hope Van Dyke has a good season - Miami screwed him over. Wouldn't be the worst thing if he ended up having a Russell Wilson like ending to his career at Wisconsin after transfering from the ACC. Hopefully Nelson can play well and help his draft stock and we see Barten and Wohler emerge as prospects as well. Hard to believe that their are no projected starting White LBs either. Fickell is pathetic but then again so is pretty much every head football coach from high school on up to the NFL.

Yet another college football preview cycle is coming up. I'll probably get that thread started up in June to start getting volunteers.

Sad decline indeed. Know it's a bit early, but UWs 2 deep seemed pretty set in stone.

Yeah Bucky i see Hunter Wohler going as high as Cole Bishop (late 2nd/59th overall) in the '25 Draft!

And just like that Whites could magically no longer play QB.

It’s par for the course for that f@ggot fickell. Did the same thing at Cincinnati. He will darken up Wisconsin’s whole roster before he is done. He like most white coaches are vile pieces of ****.

Wisconsin will start losing more and more now and Fickell will be gone in 3 years max. You will see something of the likes of (8-4, 7-5, 6-7). Then fired. Just hope they bring in the type of white friendly coach they had in the past 25 years or so.

What a dipshit and precisely the reason many fans didn’t want him as the hire. Everything Dickell does is the greatest thing since sliced bread! Hoping for a .500 or worse season.

Bit of good news here. Ben Barten is back starting at DE. Upsider James Thompson injured his knee, so by default more playing time for Barten! Barten was recruited as an OL and a rare OL to DL switch done by a Lunchpailer.

Also looks like Preston Zachman has locked up other Safety spot next to Wohler! Latu is injury prone and can’t tackle. On top of being a rapist POS.

So Badgers gain 2 overachievers!

Oh jeez.

I watched the game last week and their offense is awful. Have to think it's more scheme than players. Pro style offense, run heavy with good QB play is Wisconsin football. Perhaps it was just week one but even last year the offense was shaky under Mordecai and Locke. I blame the QB less and less in Madison now.

I’d agree there. Longo’s Air Raid to Wisconsin has been a failure. The promise of explosive plays is no where in sight.

They’re in for a tougher game than most people expect against South Dakota Saturday.

Badgers DWFs wanted Yacamelli to transfer as they figured he was behind such stellar talents as Chez and Tawee… They also figured the true freshman affletic rbs would surpass him, easily. Well they were wrong and we were right. YAC has 107 yards on 12 Carries through 2 games. Stellar 8.8 yards per carry! Imagine what he could do as an upsider!

Tackett Curtis will get the start this week at MLB. At least for the 1st half, due to a targeting call on Jake Chaney in the 2nd half of South Dakota game.

The Badgers are a disaster under Fickell. Losing 42-10 to an unranked Iowa should make it clear to all that this experiment has failed. They should fire him at the end of the year and reverse trends back to the Wisconsin way before they really hit rock bottom. Yacamelli should be made focal point of the offense next year.
