Since 2006 the Broncos have had 12,10,9,12,8,6,8,10,10, 10, 9, 10, 7, 9 and 8 white starters. In 2023 the Broncos start 9. 2024 WMU looks to start 11!
2nd year under coach Lance Taylor, a member of the Choctaw Tribe. He went 4-8 his first season. Rough 1st Two games against Wisconsin and Ohio State. After that they should be battle hardened.
QB Hayden Wolff(6’5 235) is back after throwing for 1500yards and a 8TD/5INT ratio in 8 games of action. Former Old Dominion transfer should be able to improve upon that! They also have WR Anthony Sambucci who has 600 receiving yards past two seasons. Getting a chance to start this season. Along with a Snow Plow OL!
Defensively MLB Jacob Wahlberg(6’4 235) is back after totaling 65 tackles last season. Former Purdue transfer. Another Big Ten transfer of interest, is Tate Hallock. 6’4 210 SS he headed West From East Lansing and dominated with 75tackles and 2INTs as a 1st year starter for Western in 2023! WMU even starts a DT in Mason Nelson(6’1 310).
